I think her testimony is gonna be interesting, this is the first parent we're hearing from for any of the defendants.

Thomas was respectable looking young man as teen

they lived with Bridget's Mom up until her death in 91.
husband was living with them off and on.

This testimony almost makes me more angry towards George. He had people that loved him and raised him. And this is how he repaid them. Maybe as he sat there in the Chipman house that night he should have thought about his mom and brother, and sister, and his baby and how all of them were being victimized by his actions or inactions as well. Maybe all criminals should think about that before they commit crimes.

Mom held several jobs in the past, was surgical tech at UofM hospital; at group homes for mentally disabled adults and mentally ill; also worked at Wayne Cty Family Center--homeless ctr. for homeless women and their children.

Husband (Allen) "in and out," came and went from the home. Had problems w the law--for theft, drugs, etc. Did not contribute to the family, stole from the family and took the car... Bridget lost two jobs as a result.

Well I hope GT's mom has the courage to stick around for sentencing, unlike family in the past two trials.

Dad went to jail for theft, drugs, and driving w/suspended license.
He also stole from her, and would take her car keeping it days to weeks at at a time.
Lost two good paying jobs cause he took her car
When did he come home for any lengthy period of time? He came home about to times. One time in 93 had been in jail. Was he around much to be a positive influence on your kids? No (that would also mean he wasn't a negative one he was there!!!)

Father wasn't around long enough to establish any relationship or help w discipline. When Allen came home, George moved out w bro (Doc) rather than stay there w his dad.

She finally looked at him. Something missing. The plea to the jury came off as lip service. IMO, doesn't seem sincere.
