Or unethical or against courtroom decorum, I'm not sure.

The rule generally is that only one attorney can question a witness. one or two notes would be ok, but if it is a pattern, the judge would probably say that is getting too close to having the defense attorneys both questioning the witness.

Lavit is trying to get it all out to the jury what a good person she is, she wanted to help, she waived her 5th amendment rights, etc.

Lavit is making hay out of Waggoner, because Waggoner was only a side-player in the investigation, so doesn't know a lot about all that went down.

I was just thinking...if Channon had severe trauma to her genitals wouldn't Vanessa have been able to see that when she was being dragged through the living room without clothing on the lower half of her body? She's lying about that. I never before thought she had anything to do with Channon's torture. If she didn't why would she lie about seeing it?

The thing for me is I'm sure that VC could have stepped up at any time and said, ok, I'll tell you everything and testify against the others, but she didn't. Instead, she started out with withholding the truth, and then gave unreliable interviews, and rejected protective custody...

That's not what innocent people who were there against their will would do.

I thought since she profitted from the crime (purse, shoes, chapstick etc etc etc), and was there the whole time, that makes her criminally responsible. They got GT LWOP for being there and riding in the SUV, and they have proof she profitted a lot more than he did.

I would totally believe her, if she called police the second she was away from them and testified against them etc. But she has done none of that!!

I've always thought that maybe it was Vanessa that was responsible for that blunt force trauma to Channon's genitals by kicking her. The guys would have just raped her, but why would they have beat her in that area? But a jealous woman in a rage cuz her boy friend had just raped that girl could explain the violence that must have entailed.

I have to admit, I thought that search was sloppy too. If someone says you can search anywhere except x, x is the first place I want to see.

Not that I think the gun was there - I thing VC put it there later - but they should have known it would be a hole in their case at trial.

The fact that she said don't search her daughter's room didn't raise any red flags to me. Personally, I wouldn't have wanted my children's room searched either. However if she said not to search the family room or something like that then I'd see red flags.

I still can't find the transcript or tape of the VC interview they've been discussing. I hope Jamie was just mistaken, or I'm not missing something right in front of me.

If I had been her, I would have said they could search, but only if they left it as neat as they found it. I hate that LE can trash your house like that.
