Waggoner - Coleman "was withholding info" in pre grand jury interview, said she, Cobbins saw nothing

During interviews both sides polite and cooperative. Coleman shows no hesitation in speaking and Waggoner made no promises to her.

He asked her mother to try to get VC to be more forthcoming... so she had a talk with her, and when he went back in, that's when VC told him she saw LD try to break Channon's neck.

I'm trying to figure out where the mother is in all this. She apparently still says VC would never have stood by unless she were held against her will.

Another interview with dad presence. Agreed to point out areas of Knox that participants had been.

Media broke the news she was a witness, he went to KY and placed Coleman in protective custody. Hotel at ATF expense until this was settled.

TK pointing out that the bad guys were in custody, so VC shouldn't have been afraid of them.

When they add this to the witness protection, I don't see how the jury will buy what she's trying to sell.

Bam. On Sunday - VC said she no longer wanted to be in protective custody, but wanted to go to KY.

Vanessa got tired of staying at hotel two days and wanted to go home. Waggoner says risk was low. The guys were in custody.

So, they make arrangements to get her back to KY... They talk to her dad, Greg Coleman, who says he wants to drive them home.

Waggoner arranges to meet him in ATF building. As they wait for him to arrive, they talk to VC.

Waggoner and agent Herndon (?) decide to talk to VC again. Her mother, Linda, is present. She says the same thing as before... he again asks mother to talk to VC to get her to be more forthcoming.

Pleasant conversation, no disagreements, no promises made by any agent.

Then the dad arrives, they ask him to talk to her. After that, VC admits that she had touched Channon.

Then they decided to tape the interview.
