Muffet, Thank you so much for adding these screenshots, they're helpful in getting a good look at the crime scene. The court shows them so fast, it's hard to get a good look. The other screenshots are much appreciated as well.

Thanks, Indianagirl! I'm glad I can help. I wish we had a way to preserve the video, but I can't think of how... and there are copyright issues.

I've just been doing quick uploads to Tinypic so far, but now there's a break, I think I'll set up a photobucket acct for them, so they can all be kept and found together.

If y'all see me get a label wrong, let me know, ok?

Not picking, but the last pic in the pics before the trash can one is of the closet... not the bedroom door. Thanks for posting them for us.

Good question, IDK.

Can someone explain why the he!! they didn't try all these beasts together? Then the finger pointing would have showed the jury they were all equally culpable! I am afraid they won't be able to use testimony from other trials, based on it being prejudicial...if they fought and won separate trials, they will be able to win an argument that testimony from the other perps shouldn't be allowed in. I am not positive but that is what I am thinking.

There's probably some legal reason for the separate trials, but to me, with them all blaming each other, the only way to achieve Justice, with a capital 'J', for society, the victims and even the perps is to put them all in one courtroom, trot out all the evidence, play all their tapes, put all their defenses in one place and let the jury figure it out. This business of limiting the info the jury gets, of breaking it all up into little pieces so you can't see the forrest for the trees is not the best way to expose truth and to provide justice. Plus, think of the expense of doing it this way. Why should the taxpayers have to bear the burden of multiple trials when there's only one story here. Put all the characters in one room at one trial and let the jury sort it all out. I thougt that's what they were for.

That whole bleach thing just goes all over me. Did it come out at Coleman's trial?

Hey Muffet...thanks for the pics and the updates! Coleman hasn't gone on trial as of yet, only Cobbins and it was brought up at his trial from what I remember.

Also, just to go off of dgfred's post....I believe that's the back door of the house, there were no doors on any of the bedrooms, just sheets that covered the doors. Because I can remember reading in Coleman's interrogation transcripts that she never heard Channon "yell" or "scream" which the detectives basically called her out on due to there being no doors on the bedroom. Proving that she knew that Channon was being held against her will and chose to do nothing about it.

That's not picking at all - helps a lot - Thank you!

The pic that says 'bedroom door' is the closet in the bedroom... you can see the clothes hanging up in there.

Thank you - they were going so fast, another thing I had trouble keeping track of as I went was which bedroom they're showing - the front or back... Do you all remember which was which?

  • #154
I believe that one is the defendent's (northern) bedroom.

Thank you, Steelergirl. Yes, I meant Cobbins' trial - so it was brought up then - good...

And yeah, I remember that about the sheets, too - her whole interrogation was revolting, playing so innocent.

I'm still unsure about the bedrooms... not sure which you mean is the back door...? Do you mean the one I just changed to "Looking into the closet?"

I did think I got one looking out the back door, but can't find it...

Just to be clear, is this the photo we're talkng about, and is it the only one?

It does look like a closet, for sure...

I can't get over how I thought the place would be a nasty dump... but in reality it looks like a college person's apartment or some young adult's place...
not a rape/murder den.

Yes, that is the one I was mentioning. Defendent's closet I think.
