Her parents. Her friends. The ME. The judge. The attorneys. Everyone in the courtroom. The damage crime does always stretches far. Currently our system is way over-focused on the right of defendants as opposed to victims or societies.

Not sure we'll ever know why he kept and wore the shoes. But he can't get away from them now. I think thos shoes are really the worst evidence against him.

Hi everyone, I have been listening and watching the trial all day but was also working and couldn't post very much. Maybe the shoes were a trophy and he was willing to be uncomfortable wearing them because he was showing them off as a trophy to the others.

I'm really curious as to how the defense will attempt to defend this creature. Unfortunately, I will be out tomorrow for most of the day and will be unable to listen or view. I know that I will be able to catch up due to all of your efforts.

As I wrote earlier, it is the closing argument that brings it home for the prosecution. It wasn't until now that TK could put it all together. I agree that it is a good thing for the jury to have her passionate call for justice to think about overnight.

I think they're going to say that Chris & Channon went out to get drugs to bring to the party, maybe found Davidson or someone else and bought some with all the cash they had, ran out of gas at around 9-10:00, went [back] to Davidson's, Channon prostituted herself for more, and when leaving around 11, Cobbins' gang [maybe 12:30, after hearing her call her dad & telling him she'd be out 'til 3] grabbed them, brought them in, Davidson saw, and left, because his bros were crazy trippin to kidnap people.

Of course, Davidson only said that he had never seen them before and there wouldn't be any of his DNA on her because he was askeered of the mean policemens.

This doesn't explain why Chris and Channon would go way over to such a dangerous part of town, when drugs were available much closer. Nor explain why she didn't call her friends, who were actually worried and wondering where she was (her parents wouldn't have been at that point.)... nor why she would have put her jeans on without her panties to go to the party, after consensual sex with Davidson....

...nor where Chris' jeans or Davidson's bed linens were. (I'm still stymied about why the latter wasn't brought up.)

...nor why Davidson's prints are on the trash bags she suffocated in, or why only his DNA was found in her bottom after an obviously traumatic entry there...

...or other holes in this sick defense team's story. :snooty:

I'm a bit worried about the parents tomorrow. My heart goes out to them. This case has actually given me nightmares.

Hey lone :wave: glad you made it today. This has been so emotionally charged, it is rough just listening to these grim facts. Will be relief when LD is sentenced, of course that's when parents will finally get their say. Heartbreaking, to be sure.
