I saw that Kiki but I thought it was because of Chase. I saw it more as overcome with emotion at the things that Chase had said. I'm sure his emotions flip flop from extreme anger to sorrow.

People often remain extremely anger or embittered if they're afraid their sorrow will overwhelm them. I pray the sentence today will bring him one step closer to releasing some of that, which is what Gary said he wants. "No one yet can tell me what to do w this hatred," or words to that effect.

He needn't be alone, I'm happy to help. I've got pliers and a blowtorch...

I'll need to leave shortly to take my son to his dentist appointment. Darn, I'll miss most of the mitigating witnesses....(said with sarcasm)

Actually I thought Gary's victim impact statement at Cobbins sentencing was one of the most powerful and impactful. I'm sorry this jury won't hear this father speak of his loss, he did a great job--I wasn't aware of any of those witnesses being cross-examined either so not really sure why different in this case, maybe the fear is his feelings run much "deeper" toward LD or judge just didn't want to chance...

Hear hear.

I gotta say, the only reason I'm hoping for the DP is for the sake of the parents' wishes and to make a statement that the jury deemed this subhuman worthy of worst punishment available.

But the gentle way we carry out the DP, with the beast being protected in a separate area and comfortable cell, spending his time on appeals with free team of lawyers and coddled by anti-DP groups for the next 20 years, and then put gently to sleep like a beloved pet, I'd happy to see him get thrown in with the general population.

I bet he'll live longer and certainly die a more gentle death with the DP than if we threw him among the GP, where no doubt, many there are waiting to Dahmer his 🤬🤬🤬.

Judge saying Davidson can testify about his life and does not have to be about this trial and crime.
