Found Safe TN - Courtney Williams, 34, Maryville, 29 August 2018

Police are looking for Courtney Williams, 34, a white female about 5 feet 2 inches tall and 120 pounds.

Maryville Police Deputy Chief Greg Cooke said Williams was last seen walking from a residence on Wales Avenue between 9-10 a.m., Aug. 29. She had been visiting an acquaintance.

Williams also visited RIO East Church, 1412 E. Broadway Ave., around that same time, Cooke said.

“We don’t know if that was before she went to that residence or right after because it was all about the same time,” Cooke said. “And she was only at that residence for about a few minutes.”

Williams’ husband, who lives in Cherokee, N.C., reported her missing Sept. 7.

If we go by what the articles say he lives in Cherokee, NC which is a two hour drive to Maryville. There isn't an explanation provided (that I have found) to know why they are that far apart.

This will probably be deleted but her husband was publicly asking yesterday why it took the police dept 2 weeks to file a missing person report. Her husband is also publicly referring to her as very mentally unstable.

I know the missing woman. She is very mentally unstable - my guess is she is bipolar. Her husband is a contractor who often works for a month or two out of town. Rumor is police refused to issue missing person notice until he could come to police station in person and he took off from work to do so. I don't know him well so can't speak to his demeanor.

Do you know if she has gone missing before in the past? Any idea what was going on with her in the days prior to her disappearance?

No past disappearances I'm aware of. I've only known her for a year or so. We aren't close friends. Have not seen her in a while.

Thanks everyone for looking for my wife Courtney Williams. She has been found she was found two days after posted. I did try for two weeks to get them to file but would not. I don't know where she was found at.i just know she is what they say ok. The reason so far away from each other it because every time I mentioned me helping her get help she runs away from it. She is mentally unstable and I have tried every way i could to get her help and t be law would not even help they said nothing wrong but there is. She is very beautiful to me and just wanted to get her help to live a happy marriage and it led to this
