Found Safe TN - Daniel Rush, 34, stopped calling gf, was with his boss, Greeneville, 30 Apr 2022

Daniel Rush, age 34, has been reported missing by his girlfriend. Rush spoke to her daily until April 30. He told her he was at Lowe's in Greeneville with his boss, but she has not heard from him since then.

She does not know his boss or where he may have been working. Anyone with information about this missing person case, please contact Capt. Jeff Morgan at 423-798-1800, ext. 1519.

Maybe because I'm married and have been out of the "dating" scene for a long time but is it only me that finds it odd his girlfriend doesn't know where he works? I could see that happening if he was self-employed and did contract work such as construction or repairs but if he has a "boss" that's unlikely.

Surely she would know even a first name and the type of work? And missing a week. had a look on fb, crickets.

If he was working under the table/temp work then maybe not unusual. Pass any Home Depot or Lowes in Fl early weekday morning and you are likely to see groups of men gathering to be picked up by random contractors who need a few extra hands/cheap labor for the day. If a guy works well, he may be hired for the remainder of the project or the week. In situations like that little info is asked and little info is given. Perhaps its like in other areas and this was one of those situations. Or maybe her boyfriend isn't missing at all and just decided to go back to his wife? This is pure speculation on my part, MOO.

UPDATE: 09-21-22: Rush has been located in Florida. According to authorities in FL, he is fine.

Lots of options -- thought he'd be back as usual, thought he'd never be back and she wouldn't look too hard, etc
