The Knoxville Police Department has issued an alert for a missing or endangered child.

Devonte' Clark, 5, was removed from a residence in Knoxville around 1:30 p.m. Monday by a non-custodial parent that doesn't have visitation privileges, according to the Knoxville Police Department.

According to KPD, Devonte' is a black male, 2' 6” tall, and about 45 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray Batman T-shirt.

The suspect has been identified as Ashlee Nicole Clark, 27, about 5' 3” and 153 pounds, with a red Mohawk.

The child and suspect were last seen in a white Ford Explorer with a temporary license tag. KPD said they may be in the company of another black female, Takeya Shilon McMahan.

UPDATE 2:25 P.M.: Davontae Clark was safely located in Nashville, according to TBI. The suspect, Ashlee Clark, is in custody, and the Amber Alert has been canceled.
