Glad to see you here! Such a senseless crime. Now Natalie doesn't have a mom or a dad. WHY do people do this? I will never understand! :stormingmad:

In a couple of the photos... Especially in red sleeveless t-shirt... RM looks pretty bulked up...

Could he have steroid rage?

Just an idea...

His mug shot has the "strong jaw" I have noticed on some athletes I suspect of using HGH.

In an earlier link, a guy named Haas that knew Randy since childhood said that Randy had quit drinking years ago and it would take a big event for Randy to start drinking again. However, he stated that he had not stayed in contact with him since he married Rachael. Also, noticed a comment post that read he was their condo president in Atlanta, GA before moving to TN after marrying Rachael. Met online AND married in 2008, wondering how much she knew about his past relationships and personal history. Just tidbits

Interesting tidbits...

Maybe Rachael didn't get a chance to find out pertinent information about RM before they got married... (Since they met online and got married the same year.... 2008).

Dendreon Corporation, a Seattle-based biotechnical company that focuses cancer research, released a statement regarding their former employee Randolph Maidens.

“We extend our sympathies and thoughts to the victim's family surrounding this tragic event. While we don't typically comment on personnel matters, the person in question is no longer an employee of Dendreon,” said Lindsay Rocco, executive vice president of corporate communications at Dendreon.

Not much out yet, but thought that this was an interesting little article:

http://thesop.org/story/20130426/mu...ph-maidens-an-appearance-vs-reality-saga.html

Thanks, No Rest...

This article mirrors some of the thoughts posted by the WS posters on this thread...

RM's wild look in his eyes were noticed by others, as well..

Multiple disturbances due in part to alcohol...

Disturbing behavior involving weapons.... (neighbor witnessed him with ski-mask and crossbow... gun and ammo found with him at another time)

It is so sad there wasn't an intervention prior to Rachael's death....

(I am NOT blaming anyone... disturbed people, as RM seems to be, often behave erratically, and not in logical steps...)

Maidens in court; former co-workers share details of recent troubles

Two of Maidens’ former co-workers, whose identities were confirmed by BHP, spoke on the condition of anonymity after being warned by their employers they would lose their jobs if they spoke with reporters.

There has been speculation in the company that Randy Maidens had an unspecified substance abuse problem.

“They knew he had a problem,” a Dendreon employee told BHP. “When I worked with him he was sober and told me he used to have a problem. There were signs.”

A second Dendreon employee said Maidens was “drunker than a monkey” during Dendreon’s Tampa, Fla., national sales meeting in early January.

BHP also has been told that about a month later Maidens was charged with disorderly conduct and public intoxication at the Dolphin Resort at Walt Disney World while attending a Community Oncology Alliance conference with several of his fellow Dendreon employees.

Disney officials have declined to discuss the incident.

“He was drunk, smashing glasses and screaming he was going to kill his wife,” the second Dendreon employee told BHP. The other Dendreon employee said it appeared he had gotten in an argument with Rachael Maidens, who attended the conference with him.

“People tried to intervene and he started to throw punches,” the co-worker said of the COA incident.

Other sources say Maidens was bailed out of jail the following day by a Dendreon employee and advised to take a short amount of time off after the Orlando incident. He returned to work three days later.

“His behavior exhibited he was losing control and they really did nothing,” the first Dendreon employee told BHP. “I don’t know what drove Randy to do this but I truly believe he was not conscious enough to know what he was doing.”

Wow!

The anonymous reports of RM's co-workers are definitely enlightening...

but it still does not answer the question as to WHY he was driven to kill Rachael...

I know substance (alcohol) abuse can lead to violent behavior.... But not every person who abuses substances are murderers.... KWIM?

:dunno:

Maidens will be arraigned on June 24th.

UPDATE: Maidens remains in jail after bond reduced

possibly suicidal based on a note that was recovered from the kitchen island.

“There was evidence that a clean-up attempt had been made,” he said. “Then there was the body that had been covered up in a blanket.”

Raybin also asked if the police found prescription drugs in the home. Wood said they did but in a bedroom or bathroom. (????)

If Maidens, 42, is able to post bail, and must do so with a professional bond company, he must wear a GPS tracking device and cannot leave Williamson or Davidson Counties. He is also ordered not to contact his daughter or his wife’s family.

Maidens’ arraignment is scheduled for June 24 at 9 a.m. in Courtroom C.

http://nashvillecitypaper.com/conte...s-club-killer-bond-cops-say-he-left-suicide-n

on that fateful Sunday, Randolph had spoken to his mother-in-law who warned him that if Rachael was not put on the phone in 10 minutes that she was calling police.

Raybin was forceful in his argument that the high bond was no bond at all, saying that should the bond be lowered, neither his fee nor the bond would come out of equity in the home the couple co-owned.

Rachael’s mother, Elizabeth Frisbie, is listed as her executor and is attempting to probate the estate on behalf of her granddaughter but that process is now on hold as Randolph Maidens has hired two attorneys, David Veile and William P. Holloway of Schell and Davies, to represent him on that matter.

What that means in short, is Randolph could still gain access to part of his deceased wife’s estate.

Thanks, Sleuthers, for keeping us updated on this case...

Interesting that no one seems to want to post bail for him...

Family, friends, nor co-workers...

It seems like he has been exhibiting his volatile side quite a bit...

Randolph Maidens appeared in Williamson County court Tuesday morning to plead not guilty on all charges regarding the alleged murder of his wife, Rachael Maidens.

Maidens, 42, also has three new conditions on his temporary restraining order, which allows the Brentwood Police Department full access to view his whereabouts from the GPS tracking device located on him, he is not permitted to drive or acquire a vehicle since he does not have a valid drivers license and he cannot access his home in the Governors Club.

However, if the order expires he can visit the home only with his attorney and after giving the BPD a 24-hour notice prior to his arrival.

There is also an exclusion zone on Maidens’ GPS device that was set by the juvenile court that prohibits him from coming near Rachael Maidens’ family and his 2-year-old daughter, N*******, who is in the custody of her grandmother, Elizabeth Frisbie.

Maidens will appear in court again on November 12.
