Oh yikes, a wreck with an ATF vehicle? Fleeing vibes

Where is south east Memphis with respect to the UM campus?

God yeah. That leaves no doubt in my mind that they've got their man.

I guess I can look this up myself, and will, but does TN publish the addresses for. sex offenders living in the state? Would not post any names here but curious if there are many or few in that area

Taking a moment to express appreciation for all law enforcement officers involved in this case. Its been less than 48 hours and they are getting it done. Big gratitude.

So glad that @MassGuy found Ian's tweet. It's on facebook and on twitter posting by a resident of the apartment complex.

Lakes at Ridgeway apartments is in the Hickory Hill area of Memphis. Definitely a more sketchy, high crime area

I don’t see any on the map for the Apartment complex where the vehicle was believed to be found.

I'm following since I saw a news article earlier. At first I thought this might be an abduction for ransom, given her family's extreme wealth. It gave me some hope, for her life at least.

Not anymore though, with the latest developments.
Eliza appears to be a lovely down to earth woman. So awful....
I feel so very sorry for Eliza's husband, children and family.

If she's five miles from home and the average female runner her age runs a mile in 12.3 minutes then yes she'd have to have left her home around 3am. That seems a bit extreme. But maybe she puts her kids to bed at 8pm and then goes to bed herself She wakes up at 3am, does her run and returns home before her husband sets out on his bike at 5 am? If they are both very athletic people this could be their routine.

She's a far better runner than I am, and my average time for a mile is 8 minutes. Regardless, she would have left her house before 4am which does seem extremely early.

The husband stated he was asleep when she left so alerting the authorities at 7am still seems early.

Maybe someone made contact for a ransom?

Praying that LE has their guy and she is alive!

I had the exact same thought.

Maybe, but there was also just a car accident and the ambulance is likely there for that incident, unrelated to Eliza.

Some quick developments.

Heavy LE activity at an apartment complex The Lakes of Ridgewater where the suspect vehicle was in a collision with an ATF vehicle and the suspect.

After seeing the family presser, vehicle found and driver detained, I think my initial thoughts were incorrect. I am thinking stranger abduction is the most likely scenario. That poor family is in so much pain that it is palpable. Things are not looking good for EF but I do hope there is resolution soon.

Fleeing? Maybe…karma or higher power, maybe. What are the odds of the suspect vehicle being in a crash? Wow

I think LE stating that they'd found the vehicle and driver, is a sign of extreme confidence. I think the damage to that vehicle when it collided with a law enforcement vehicle, indicates this guy was trying to flee.

That tells me they've got their man.

Sadly however, in all the cases I've ever followed, I can't remember one where a kidnapping suspect was arrested without the victim being recovered on scene, and it having a happy ending.

So I'm definitely not optimistic in that regard.
