The Fayette County Sheriff's Office said on Facebook Wednesday: 'Ellis is 6'2 and weighs 195lbs and was last wearing a Gray T-shirt, black shorts, brown house shoes, and a Doo Rag.

'Also missing was Mr. Vogt's 1999 Green Plymouth Voyager mini van bearing TN (Handicap) Tag 100DD31.'

"Local Memphis has learned a woman connected to a missing Tennessee man is in the Fayette County jail for theft.

Pamela Bingham, 54, was taken into custody in Guymon, Oklahoma August 3 after she was found driving Ellis Vogt's van without permission.

Bingham was extradited to Tennessee and booked in Fayette County September 20. She was charged with felony theft.

Vogt, who is disabled and uses a wheelchair to get around, was reported missing July 30 with Pamela "jaynie" Bingham under suspicious circumstances.

The two disappeared from Vogt's Fayette County home along with his green van.
According to an affidavit Vogt hired Bingham as a caretaker after he posted a Craigslist ad.

District Attorney Michael Dunavant said law enforcement is still investigating Vogt's missing person status."

Deputies: Set of remains discovered off Fayette County highway belong to missing man

The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed a set of remains discovered in early February belong to a man who was reported missing back in August 2015.

Police identified Pamela Bingham as the woman who answered the ad.

Bingham was later found driving Vogt's van in Guymon, Oklahoma. She was charged with stealing Vogt's van and is jailed in Fayette County.

Dunavant said Bingham is a person of interest in Vogt's death.
