He doesn't look good there but he's actually not a bad looking guy so I can see how a woman can get a false sense of security being around him. He has a wife and 5 kids! Not your typical monster. The ones you don't expect are the most frightening because they look so normal. The "Ted Bundy" types.

I am aware that most monsters don't look like monsters. I just don't like this dude. I don't find him attractive. I think his pumpkin pie haircut in the mugshot is ridiculous and his crispy bangs in the above photo are gross. However, none of this matters or is relevant. What is relevant is that he is a bad dude. That's why he disgusts me and makes me :sick:. It has nothing to do with his looks.

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Tenn. – New details could be revealed Tuesday morning in the murder of a Tullahoma nursing student.

Franklin County Authorities have scheduled a press conference regarding Megan Sharpton's murder, whose partially burned body was found July 2 on the Awalt Bridge in Franklin County.

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Tenn. – A man has been charged in the murder of a Tullahoma nursing student.

Authorities said 37-year-old Donnie Frank Jones, Jr. was indicted Monday afternoon by the Franklin County Grand Jury in the death of 24-year-old Megan Sharpton. The announcement was made a press conference on Tuesday morning.

OldSteve-- Very Interesting. I think Decatur, where Holly's crime took place & Tullahoma, where Megan's crime took place are not that far from each other.

Also both Holly & Megan were nursing students in Tennessee. LE recently indicted a prime suspect in Megan's death and the perp has 21 felony convictions from rape to burglary.

Maybe the pink purses were the killer's "calling card"

Holly from Decatur is not too far from Tullahoma where Megan was from....

She got the 'tip' of an elderly woman needing care from Donnie Jones' wife. It was basically a map to the middle of nowhere. The phone number was apparently to a 'go phone' and was no longer working later that day when LE tried it.

She was likely murdered where the purse was found. The dumping and burning of her body is what is puzzling. Someone carried her all the way out there and ..why? A few steps away is heavy woods and another few steps away is the lake.

Her car was found literally in the middle of nowhere.

Whoever is going to testify in the case is key to those questions.

Our community was livid and hurt for Megans family that it took so long to get an indictment on Donnie Jones after he came back as a direct dna match soon after.
Even though he was locked up on felony gun possession charges, there was a 'chance' he would be bailed out. The night the indictments were handed down and he was transferred to Franklin County Jail was a huge huge relief around here.

This is going to get very interesting and very very sad when it is shown how the justice system failed by having a 21 count felony offender walking the streets and crossed Megans path.

They both drove mustangs. I posted about some of the similarities on Holly's thread a while ago.

I think there could be a connection but hard to do without a body. Sadly if Holly suffered the same fate and her body burned, she may never be found if the perp succeeded in destroying evidence.

He wanted to destroy the evidence. He was unsuccessful. Someone spotted the fire.

First it came out that it was a 'good Samaritan' that called. Then it was from the church, then it was the parking lot of the church. So, I have an opinion on that, but ....
I reckon cell phone records are being carefully analyzed right now.

I'll see what I can find about him working in Holly's area. I haven't seen or heard anything about that.

If I was LE, I would definitely question him about Holly or others. We never know. He may want a plea deal.

Oh I know. Neither do I but if it brings a loved one home to their family sometimes they do go for some sort of deal. This is all speculation anyway. We have no idea if he's involved with Holly's disappearance.

Holly's pink purse is still missing according to her dad. Both Holly and Megan had pink purses and mustangs. Probably just coincidence but who knows.
