Eh, it could mean nothing. From the pictures I've seen,

trust nothing you see on social media, i can make a photo right now that shows me and my buddy Ellen having beers and talking about what presents she might give out on her next show while we eat lunch

its an extreme example but it takes a second to shoot a photo and only a couple of moments to put the child in clean clothes and brush her hair for the photo doesn't mean its like that for the other 99% of the time

not that i am saying she wasn't looked after just like you said looks can be deceiving

Eh, it could mean nothing. From the pictures I've seen, Evelyn looks healthy, happy, clean... she is dressed in cute clothes, her hair is done. Doesn't scream "I don't want this baby" to me. But it wouldn't be the first time someone who kept their baby healthy, well fed, dressed in nice clothes, abused their own baby so, it's really hard for me to think about that because it has happened in many cases. Parents that post thousands of pictures of their children online are also abusers, I could think of several cases of parents that killed their children that had a bunch of pictures of those kids on social media, going to Disney, going to the movies, big birthday parties, huge piles of Christmas presents. Social media doesn't mean much when it comes to how people really live their lives.

I second the opinion that her SM not being covered with photos of the baby doesn't mean much. I didn't end up posting many things about my babies either just because of how hectic life is with a new baby. In that first year with my first baby, the last thing I was thinking of was facebook, honestly.

Evelyn does look clean and happy in all of her photos. Healthy weight. Cute outfits with matching bows, playing outside, participating in events. Which is why it’s so bizarre. We’ve all seen other cases where the children look dirty and miserable in the few photos LE could scrounge up.

There’s really no evidence before the disappearance that points to MB being a bad mom, or not wanting to be a mom. She’s been helping take care of her young siblings for years, and recently, so it’s not like she’s living the carefree childless life some people have accused her of seeking.

Which again, is all part of why this case is so bizarre. I wonder what or who she could be so afraid of to act in the way she has regarding the disappearance of her child who was, at least from appearances, loved and cared for.

I’d love to know more about the date/location of this photo!

I would as well... this is the problem with this case. The information provided to the public never seems to be complete and leads to tons of speculation. I don’t understand why basic information is never provided. Telling us the estimated date that the photo was taken would not compromise the case. LE was quick to tell the public that rumors on SM are interfering with the investigation, but if they would just provide a little more information the rumor mill would not churn at such a rapid rate. The only thing anyone can do right now is construct possible scenarios in their minds.

I also said that social media means nothing and is not an accurate representation of real life.

Exactly. Having a "dirty" baby at Evelyn's stage is really easy, they're eating with their hands, they're crawling, they're touching everything, they drool like crazy, they have boogers all the timeeeee. Not one single picture of this chid shows her even a tiny bit dirty.

I love this post. I’m so sorry for how some are portraying your county. You have shown more restraint that I would have!!!

I didn't show the restraint I wish I had, but honestly, this is a wonderful community of people on the whole. Very low crime rate, beautiful scenery and for the most part, very honest ,very kind, very accepting people. We are really no different than any other community across America. :)

Here's the picture taken at Speedway in lights.

she actually looks older to me in the speedway photo than she does in the new one they released today. Not by much, but a bit. Could simply be how her hair is. My baby looked like such an older baby with a little ponytail. I found it odd during MB’s interview that she said she had no photos of EB with her. Surely she had her cell phone?

i was agreeing with you hence the last sentence sorry it that wasn't clear

just saying i don't think social media portrays anything for anyone really but the side they want to show, and that goes for everyone including everyone here probably

I saw someone's post earlier about how MB may have fatally injured EB either by mistake or with intent back in mid December.

This is what I feel in my heart. EB was badly hurt, MB panicked and someone in her circle helped her get rid of that sweet baby.

I hope that I am so terribly wrong. I am thankful but terrified that the FBI is now involved.

I thought exactly the same thing. What mother doesn't have at least one Christmas Day photo of her baby on her phone ?

Bless her, she looks clean, happy and well fed. Thanks pepper 34.

1am here in UK, husband reminding me I've got an 8.30am appt for blood tests, urgh, I hate early mornings now I'm older, much older lol.

Goodnight Sleuthers.
Hey, I have surgery in the morning! But will leave y'all with this thought. I've had my grands since they were born. My beautiful, educated, meth addicted daughter used to do photo shoots with them and post pics. We fed, clothed and everything else...
Good night!

It is really odd for a young mom to no post pics of her baby every day on facebook. I think this girl did not want the baby and saw her as a just another thing holding her back. She would rather be out having fun and living the good life and not home watching a baby. If she saw a chance to give the baby a better life and get the baby out of her life I think she is the type that would jump at the chance. However at the same time she would not want people to know she sold.gave the baby away so she makes up stories as to where she was. Finally grandpa started comparing stores she was told and started the ball rolling.
Above is my opinion only

I agree that many young moms post a lot on FB. However just as many do not. My 21 year old step daughter takes dozens of pics of her 3 year old daily and dotes over her son just as much, of not more than, the best of us yet she rarely posts them on FB. Maybe a couple times a month. Other young moms I know are very protective of what pics go on social media for their kids separating adult life from their kids. I don’t agree that the amount of posts are what matters here.

I assumed that LE had taken her cell phone for potential evidence or at least to search. If that was the case, then it’s quite likely that most parents without technology in their hands would not have pictures readily available.

I said I wasn't going to follow this one... oh well. Has anybody posted AB’s FB profiles yet? That’s allowed, as she’s been arrested in connection with the disappearance, right?

Absolutely!! And given that Christmas was the last full day she apparently spent with her baby, you would think she would be have those photos and be looking at them daily! If I wanted the world to be looking for my kid, I would never be without a picture of her.

MB is under 20 though right? My impression is that FB really isn’t a thing for younger people. It’s not taken seriously. They’re on Instagram or Snapchat or WhatsApp or probably something even newer. I don’t have accounts on any of those platforms because I’m the same kind of old person that uses FB :-D
Just saying, not only would I not believe anything from social media, it might not even be how she interacts online with her friends. She might only throw a couple of pics up on FB for her older family members

ETA: I’m agreeing with @LBoz98
