I assumed that LE had taken her cell phone for potential evidence or at least to search. If that was the case, then it’s quite likely that most parents without technology in their hands would not have pictures readily available.

Toddlers tend to chunk up then slim /grow taller so it is hard to tell. I’m looking at her teeth and don’t see much difference between the Bristol photo, the new pic and the original of her in the purple chair. I did just find this photo however, and she’s definitely gaining weight and has new teeth since the November pictures.

MB is under 20 though right? My impression is that FB really isn’t a thing for younger people. It’s not taken seriously. They’re on Instagram or Snapchat or WhatsApp or probably something even newer. I don’t have accounts on any of those platforms because I’m the same kind of old person that uses FB :-D
Just saying, not only would I not believe anything from social media, it might not even be how she interacts online with her friends. She might only throw a couple of pics up on FB for her older family members

Evelyn Boswell: Authorities release new photo of missing toddler as search continues

As of Sunday, a reward totaling $56,000 has been offered for information leading to Evelyn's safe return. The TBI said Sunday it had received 375 tips regarding the missing child.

Police have described Boswell's disappearance as a confounding case filled with conflicting and confusing information.

I'm just coming up to speed on Evelyn's case and don't know what to think at the moment. I watched an interview with her mom and on one hand she appears concerned yet OTOH the content of her statements come off (IMO) as almost flippant.

What's the current thinking here? I'll continue catching up but I'm curious to hear what my fellow WS posters think. Thanks!

Yikes. Babies are very head heavy and it isn’t uncommon for them to get goose eggs like that, although she doesn’t look big enough to be walking yet and that is when my daughter and nieces all had similar bumps. But she could have taken a header off the couch or something. I think more concerning IMO is what appears to me to be discoloration on her upper leg, right by the yellow of her swimsuit.

ETA also concerning to me is the bruising on MB’s upper right arm, and what may be discoloration at her left eye. I hope she wasn’t being hurt by anyone.

Yes it does look like a bruise but toddlers often get bruises from falling over as they aren't that steady on their feet.

What would be considered a " change in circumstances " ? I assume it would be along the lines of employment, living arrangements, that sort of thing ?

Anything that would render you ineligible for the benefits you’re getting. For example, getting a job while on unemployment, making more money than the limit for cash assistance, getting insurance while on Medicaid, no longer having custody of a child you’re collecting benefits for, someone in the family dying. When you apply you certify that you meet the set out requirements and you agree to let them know if anything on that paper changes.

But to someone else’s question in this situation you’d have to prove she was no longer caring for a dependent and using any money still being collected for herself. It’s much easier if the state catches a company paying payroll tax for someone and that someone is on unemployment.

There’s always a cost-benefit of what investigators spend their time on too. I mentioned the $2,500 unemployment case because I couldn’t believe my county had nothing better to prosecute than a lady working a minimum wage job. Surely there are more deserving executives and hospitals who could use a fraud investigation than someone barely scraping by trying to get on their feet again. (JMO MOO)

What jumps out at me (in addition to the knot in EB's forehead) is that there's a boat in that picture.

I'm wondering who owns that boat.

I really wouldn't look too much into apparent bruises on Evelyn in one photo. Learning how to walk is a dangerous business. If some of yall could have seen some of the knocks my boys took...

I second the opinion that her SM not being covered with photos of the baby doesn't mean much. I didn't end up posting many things about my babies either just because of how hectic life is with a new baby. In that first year with my first baby, the last thing I was thinking of was facebook, honestly.

I agree.... But will also say that I find myself thinking too much about how there are publicly available pictures of Evelyn for the 4th of July and Halloween, but none for her 1st birthday or this Christmas. Not reading too much into it, but I can't quite shake it loose, either.

My thinking:

• MB has sole custody of Evelyn.
• Evelyn hasn't been seen in two months.
  
• I don't give a rat's patootie where she lives or works, what her race is, who she's dated, or who she's afraid of, her child's well-being should be priority.
• Emphasis on should.
• MB didn't report Evelyn missing. WHY?

We live near a different set of mountains further north. We have those that are "new" to the mountain that came from more civilized areas "in town" who complain about the cannons get fired off, guns shot at all hours of the day and night, ATV's and loose dogs.

In reality, they should be more concerned about the meth labs, grow houses, and relatives of those in all levels of LE, and gov't in the county all that live n the same mountain roads that they do.

Election investigations are commonplace because the voting population is so low it is easily manipulated.

This before you get to the RV lots and mobile home parks which seem to have their own laws and security.

Are there other SM accounts other than the ones on facebook? She may have just stopped using FB. Loads of younger people are moving away from facebook in favor of instagram or just getting off social media altogether. It's the new hip thing to be offline, IMO
