MB has made statements about what happened on her Facebook. Is she considered a POI so this can be shared here?

Hmm i am not sure... they have been arrested, do you mean the grand mother or actually maggie?

probably better if a mod clarifies this for us

My old self hasn't even looked for an Instagram for her, hah!! She had been using one FB fairly recently though, which is where the other holiday photos I mentioned (from 2019) were posted.

There are a lot of Instagram accounts with the name MB. I didn't sort through them.

I think her Instagram has always been private. What I have seen circulating has been screenshots from those that follow her.

Morning all! Im still here with everyone who's hoping Evelyn will be found.

What I don't understand most of all in this strange case is Evelyn's mom says she knows WHO has her little daughter.

Then WHY doesn't she tell the TBI, and FBI investigators who are desperately trying to find Evelyn?

Its painfully obvious Evelyn was not in the care of her grandmother or she would have been with her in a secure carseat when she was arrested.

If she gave her to someone who really wanted her, and are good people then why not tell.

There has to be a sinister reason why she won't tell, even though she knows hundreds of man hours are involved, and thousands of dollars are being spent searching for a tiny baby. Her own community is worried sick knowing Evelyn is missing.

Imo, whatever she has done with Evelyn is criminally illegal. There is no other reason that makes sense for not coming forth with the truth now. ALL OF IT!!

Whatever has happened to little Evelyn it seems to me at least her mother doesn't want Evelyn to ever return or even more devastating she already knows Evelyn will not be returning alive. :(

I hope, and pray she didnt fatally harm Evelyn, but if she sold her to someone that is just as chilling because we have seen cases where bio moms are selling their little young children to pedophiles.

I will never understand why she is withholding vital evidence LE needs to find her vulnerable young child.

I'm wondering now if the grandmother ever had Evelyn. It seems if she was the one she would have had contact with Evelyn's mom giving her updates on little Evelyn.

I cant get past Evelyn being missing for months, and her mom just goes on with her life.

This is truly a bizarre case. The mom of this missing little child holds the key to who has her, but will not tell investigators, and is making inconsistent statements as well!!! Banging my head.

I just dont understand why any parent would do that. Instead of helping LE locate her tiny daughter she is blocking them from finding her when she says she knows who has her?

Does that make sense to any of you?

If she truly loved Evelyn she would move heaven, and earth to get her back, yet she seems to be the obstacle standing in the way. SMDH.

It wouldnt matter if she may be in trouble herself now if she truly loves her. She wouldn't care about herself at this point, and would only want her back safe, and sound.

Jmhoo

I was following a local (to me) case a bit ago and ended up with some information that I felt might help LE so I went in to the PD to speak with the officer who was in charge of the investigation.

During our conversation, he said something that kind of stuck with me. He said that often- not always, but often- those who want to, or demand to know all of the details of a case (again, sometimes) end up having involvement and become a POI.

I just thought this was interesting and I suppose it makes sense. MOO.

I’m just catching up so this has probably been mentioned - but is it possible that grandma was saying he was going to regret reporting Evelyn missing because it will end with their daughter in jail?

Yes, I think it’s possible. I keep going back to “you’re gonna regret it”

What jumps out at me (in addition to the knot in EB's forehead) is that there's a boat in that picture.

I'm wondering who owns that boat.

JMO.

It's not uncommon in this area to rent pontoon boats.

If Megan was the one buying the car, who didn’t make a payment or sign any paperwork - why isn’t she also being charged with Theft?

I’m guessing because she didn’t take the car and run with it. She wasn’t in possession of the stolen car, WM and AB were.

Am still not convinced that AB "ran" with the car. I suspect that the car wasn't reported stolen until certain people were brought in for questioning, and it was then that the car was reported stolen. WAS the car actually "stolen " ? That remains to be seen, imo.

Termed something, I believe, along the lines of "inserting yourself into the investigation".

Like Heidi Broussard's so-called "best friend" Magen Fieramusca, who spent about 15 minutes talking with Tim Miller on the phone; they want to be close to all the details so that they can keep abreast of the details.

Either that, or these individuals are into sick gloating about how they have secret information. I'm pretty sure it's also the same principle as the policemen watching funerals to see who shows up graveside.

See its things like this that shatters my heart. Evelyn's own community seems to care much more about finding Evelyn than her own mom. Ugh!

Jmho
Because Evelyn's Mom knows where her baby is - as I've said before, the fact no one has led LE to Evelyn given the amount of the reward to me means this will have no happy ending.
I pray I am wrong.

IMO

i don't really think a state border is stopping any progress right now i am sure these PD's work together on a lot of stuff so i don't think its stopping finding Everlyn at all

just a formality to get them back across state lines
So, I've read all the posts and most links and still am not sure what has happened. The information we have just isn't enough, but .......

I think AB told MB that she would help her out by having Evelyn for her while she sorted herself out or was at work. This went on for several weeks and when MB told AB she was taking Evelyn back home AB told her she could have baby back if MB got her (AB) a car. No car no baby. No telling anyone otherwise she would run off with baby Evelyn.
MB couldn't get a car straight away. Meanwhile TB Snr got fed up and started putting pressure on AB and maybe MB. This pressure got to MB so much she managed to organise aBMW. By this time TB made his phone call and the ball started rolling.

MB couldn't tell police this tale, she would bring down more trouble on her mother and father and indeed herself.

The above is all JMO
I totally agree, I think it’s now between grandma keeping the child away and hidden so grandpa and his side can’t have her. I hope! My other theory is that grandma is involved in something really bad and that baby won’t be found. I hope I’m right with the first theory and not the second one! MOO

No, she has not been named a POI or a suspect yet.

This is how I took the threat... not that anything would happen to him, but that he would feel guilty for their daughter getting into trouble.

:( is how I feel about this whole thing.

IMO, the lack of basic information being provided to the public right now is hindering this case. LE has said that rumors on social media are hindering the investigation, but many (not all) of these rumors are being passed around because no one can ask for clarification or even seem to get basic details. In addition, a little bit of info often triggers a bit of memory or new ideas for how the public can help. My fear is that eventually Evelyn will be somewhat forgotten or news about her overlooked because there are only a sea of questions with no one leading the public in how to resolve any of them.

LE in Sullivan County should examine how PR was handled during the recent Faye Swetlik case. LE in Cayce, SC held their cards very close to their vest and did not divulge any information that could hinder the case, but they gave regular updates. Often, nothing new was shared during their PCs, but reporters were able to gain clarification, and there was not nearly as many wild theories circulating, even though her family never spoke with MSM. LE answered many questions with “I can’t disclose that information at this time,” and it settled the public and gave some faith that they were pursuing a path with some level of competence. It gave us a little faith and hope.

At a minimum by now we should have the following info: Basic living arrangements, custody/visitation arrangements (if any), date of last published photo. We can’t even seem to get clarification on these simple details. It is super frustrating. IMO, the PR in this case is being handled rather poorly.
