Has it been discussed that the BMW belonged to the ex-boyfriend's mom, Melissa Wood?

Does anyone else get the feeling that MB is loving the spotlight? It bothers me how much she appears to enjoy being in front of the camera. If my children were missing I’d be a mess.

Evelyn Boswell: Every development in the weeklong search for the East Tennessee toddler

Feb 25, 2020

Evelyn Boswell, a 15-month-old girl from Blountville in Sullivan County, has yet to be found, though authorities say they are operating on the assumption she is alive.

The search for Evelyn has been hampered by the fact that she hasn't been seen since December, as well as by "conflicting information and inaccuracies."

The Sullivan County Sheriff's Office, Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and FBI are involved in the investigation, in which much is still unknown.

[..]

Here is how the week unfolded:

Tuesday, Feb. 18
The investigation into Evelyn's disappearance began in the afternoon after her grandfather reported to the Department of Children's Services that certain family members hadn't seen her in two months [..]

Wednesday
The TBI issued an Amber Alert for Evelyn around 8 p.m. ET. [..]

Friday
The TBI announced at about 9 a.m. ET they were looking for a gray 2007 BMW with Tennessee tag 3M9 6W9 because it was believed people traveling in the car may have information about Evelyn's whereabouts.

At about 8:30 p.m. ET, the TBI announced they had located the vehicle in Wilkes County, North Carolina [..]

Saturday/Sunday
Sullivan County Sheriff's Office detectives traveled to Wilkesboro, North Carolina, to interview Angela Boswell and McCloud over the weekend about Evelyn. [..]

Monday

Angela Boswell was transferred to the Sullivan County jail Monday evening. McCloud remained in North Carolina.

Meanwhile, the Sheriff's Office discouraged community members from organizing search parties for Evelyn because law enforcement did not have "definitive information regarding Evelyn's whereabouts."

It’s certainly possible she is lying, but I think word around town was that she was saying this before any investigation began.

She was also giving many different stories on where Evelyn was before the investigation began too though. I think she’s been building this story for awhile.

Authorities believe, hope Evelyn Boswell is still alive
[...]

More than 425 tips about Evelyn have come in since last week, but none has resulted in a credible sighting or her recovery. Seabolt said those tips have not focused on “any specific area” but have been “widespread and have been from coast to coast.”

He also urged the public not to rely on Facebook for information about the case.

[...]

The TBI also released a statement Monday regarding the investigation.

“During the investigation, authorities have received a number of conflicting statements. That, combined with the fact that Evelyn was not immediately reported missing, makes this a complicated case,” according to the statement. “December 26 is listed as the date she was last seen. However, the child’s mother — along with others connected to the child — has given conflicting dates.”

Wow! Where? Any links ? I was just thinking that there are so many people involved that someone will start talking to save themselves and place blame elsewhere.

Some of you have discussed campgrounds in the area. I registered for the first time because I live in the area, and I wanted to describe it to you. First in what locals consider to be "the Mendota area" there aren't any official campgrounds. There are a couple of local businesses that will allow you to rent a space on their property or you may know someone who will rent out a space on their private property if they know you. Mendota Road (Route 802 and 614) is approximately 31 miles from the main highway (Rt. 19/11/58) to the Mendota Community Center and another 10 miles to the Carter Family Fold (Rt. 421). These are primarily the only entrances into Mendota. Mendota lies under the mountain. The curvy, two-lane road runs parallel to the Holston River. There are approximately five businesses in Mendota including a community center, a post office, a country store, an adventure outfitters store, and a wedding venue. There are also a couple of churches. The Mendota Fire Tower is 15 mountainous miles from the community center. The closest official campgrounds are Riverside Campground which is located back at the main highway and then another five miles on the other side and Hidden Valley Lake, an additional ten miles north of the main highway. I am sure these were the two scso checked and possibly the outdoor adventure facility, which rents out a room. It would be helpful to know specifically if they checked these places, but when I say Mendota is a remote, beautiful area, it is. Saying you are camping at Riverside Campgrounds or Hidden Valley Lake in Mendota would be considered an incorrect statement by locals since neither are really close to the area known as Mendota.
