This delay in reporting her missing is beyond concerning.

And it was DCS who reported her missing?????

An AGENCY had to report her missing?????

What about her parents??????!!!!!!

Oh, No.

This is awful. Just awful.

So it seems from this that neither parent reported her missing. Wonder if there was an active/ongoing DCS file for her or if someone made a recent report that caused an investigation to be started.

Not seeing any reports that have comments after articles?

If you look on the local media’s Facebook page where they’ve posted links to their reports, you will find a plethora of comments and info about what’s going on. Look up WJHL.

The father just returned from deployment.

So are we thinking maybe dad got home from deployment and found her missing? Do we know who has custody of her?

The wording on the reports makes me think child protection services were involved before this. Whether that means neither parent had custody, I'm not sure. They could have just been monitoring or something. But that's just my opinion.

Why is this thread moved from the Missing? What is going on?

Evelyn is absolutely adorable.

Unfortunately I don’t think we’ve ever seen a case of not seen for months or one where the child was reported missing months after they were last seen and the case had a happy ending. Typically that’s the first red flag that something is really, really wrong.

There had to be SOMEONE that saw the child after November/December right? Neighbor? Friend? Anyone?

"News 5 spoke with Sullivan County Sheriff's Office PIO Captain Andy Seabolt about Boswell's disappearance. He told us the following:

“Right now we’re not sure of her exact location. It could be anywhere from what we know. We’re conducting the investigation, and obviously we’ve been talking to as many people as we’ve come in contact with that knew about the child. We have several others we will be speaking with as well, and we’ve also been receiving some leads we’ve been following up on... We want to know why the child was not reported missing earlier."

The sheriff's office was notified on Tuesday by the State of Tennessee Department of Children's Services
