IMO the only way they are going to find that precious baby is to get the one who had custody of her to crack.

It's absolutely bizarre that the last caregiver just goes on with life as if no one will ask about the baby... didn't try to even claim a kidnapping (thank goodness.)

I am local and we are all very confused by the article’s wording. However, they did send out an Amber Alert last night.

One of our local scanner type FB pages has several interesting comments with screenshot text messages.

So few details. I'm guessing mom had custody but no articles seem to confirm the dynamics.

As other posters have already pointed out, long delays between last being seen and being reported missing is always the first red flag.

Parent/caregiver being unable to quickly produce the child in order to close the case is the 2nd.

DCFS seems to be the one who made the initial report? That seems very telling too.

How could no one care enough about this precious baby to either notice she was missing or report it?! I am sick. I pray this child is found unharmed, but my gut says EVERYTHING is WRONG here.

Awful. I hope she was given to someone who is taking good care of her and she wasn't killed. :(

I have a terrible feeling that this case will be solved quickly.
