Well, it's becoming more and more clear why no one in Evelyn's world gave AF that she has been missing for nearly 3 months now. What a bunch of trash. Poor little sweetheart. I so hope she's ok somewhere.

Isn't this essentially the same story Casey Anthony told?
Yes, and Casey was sleeping over with a new boyfriend so a small child cramped her style.

Is the boyfriend of the arrested mother in NC the same dude her ex husband tried to murder back in 2012? ( along with the help of his son, the father of Evelyn)
Was the current bf also arrested?
Do we know who he is and where he is?
Most importantly....Where is sweet Evelyn????
Could I be her "Gama?"

If this was already posted or shouldn't be shared here, please let me know. It's the full-length interview with MB from WCYB's Facebook page.

Nobody is off my hinky meter right now. I don't trust a damn thing. IMO. Bring Evelyn home safe.

As long as CPS is around to monitor things.
long story short....before I had legal custody, bu t I did have my grands....they called me, asking if I knew where the babies were...they hadn't seen them in months. I had them the whole time....but omg 3-4 months later and they're looking?! Omg. Thank God I had them. UGh

Hiding the baby from what? These are drug addicts and felons, not nuns. It sounds like someone harmed the baby, maybe accidentally, and everyone is covering up for each other. The only question I have is which one did it and when?

I get that the bio dad is in the military. But where is his family in all of this? Did they not have any contact with Evelyn? Didn't care to see her over the holidays? Are they more of the same ilk? WTH?

Just caught up with this entire thread. My brain wants to implode.

My question is if MB is claiming she knows who took the baby, can't she face some sort of criminal repercussions for ummmmmm not telling the police?

I've only seen the paternal grandmother and grandfather. They look like decent people to me. Which is not to say that looks aren't some times deceiving, but they don't look like they just stepped off the set of Deliverance or anything. JMO

But did they have any contact with this precious baby girl? Honestly, I couldn't have kept any of the grandparents away from my own babies if I'd had an army behind me. I just don't get it.

"She is cooperating, but like I said, some of the information she's giving us hasn't been accurate," he said. "During our interviews, her stories aren't leading up to some things we went out and checked on."

that kind of says it all really

I’m pretty sure she has spun some tale for the police. I’m guessing she pointed the finger at her mom and gave them the vehicle information. She’d probably be charged for lying to the police, if it turns out she’s been doing that. The sheriff heavily implied she wasn’t being honest with them in his press conference today. But the second she’s charged with a crime, she’s going to lawyer up. It’s better for them if she keeps talking, whether to them, friends and family, or the news.

How involved is dad? I know he is active military but he wasn’t deployed right? Like he could have still had visitation, calls, and custody rights if he wanted right? When is the last time he saw her?

That, or, and this might be a reach, but someone (family or someone close to the family) may be or had been holding the baby as collateral considering the amount of drug dealing that goes on in that area and combining that with what it appears this family seems to be involved with.

MORE: Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office tells me *2* people their department wants to speak with about Evelyn Boswell’s disappearance were found inside that BMW in Wilkes County, NC. “WE have NOT made any arrests in connection with the missing child case,” Capt. Andy Seabolt says.

Not saying that I believe this, but it COULD make a little more sense that she was hesitant to try and get her back if it was her (Maggie’s) own mother that had her daughter. She would know what her mom was capable of. We’ve already seen what her dad and brother were/are like...

But then there is what the police said about it all at the presser... unless it was a ruse?[/QUOTE
I wondered something similar after watching the interview. Maybe with her being young, thinking she is in a new relationship someone (family member) offered to take care of Evelyn but then was not cooperating in giving her back. MB could have been worried and afraid herself. I do not know. MOO.

But WHY? Why would multiple people hide a baby? From what? We know Evelyn was not with them, then who has she? Right now, we are talking about at least 4 people involved. (Maggie, her mother, her mother's bf, and whoever has E) I don't get it.

It's scary the ways people can use a child for money to buy drugs.

And people who need their next high can lose all sense of morality.

I'm hoping against hope that sweet Evelyn is actually being protected from bad mothering.
