Back on Topic. I honestly think this is the first time I have seen LE state outright that someone lied to them.

They have said it before when they suspect they have been given false information. In Maleah Davis's case, LE said from the beginning that there were a lot of holes in the stepfather's 'kidnapping' story. Jmo

The most used route from Sullivan/Carter County, TN to Wilkes County, NC takes you through Boone, NC. There are a few active street cams in Boone. It would be nice to review a day's footage, if still available, and look for the car to pass. It might be helpful to determine how many people, in particular a car seat, were in the car as they passed through Boone. It is a long shot I know.

Seems they got the pond tip, either before or after talking to Megan last night, They charged Megan with false reporting, to possibly hold her from fleeing. They need a body to proceed with more charges.

Well MB's Grandfather just summed it all up in that statement.

Well, I feel really stupid now. I was 100% confident that AB had EB since Dec. and just ran with her last week and MB was really scared of her mom. Now I 100% believe MB's grandpa Jones. I still believe AB knows what happened to EB and where she is. I still want to believe that little girl is still alive, but I just don't know about that anymore.

IMO, I'm starting to get the vibe that MB is looking desperately for a Prince Charming to take her away from this family chaos (some of which, has been outlined quite plainly in MSM); and that these babies (?) are just a means to that end. Cute, sure; nice for all the praise they garner; but she's not terribly committed to them.

IMPORTANT: the Wilkes County tip is just one of many according to TBI PIO Leslie Earhart. Says they just received that tip, aren’t sure how it got posted (it didn’t come thru TBI) and are investigating it like any other. It is very initial, NOT a promising tip yet.

Angela Boswell lived with her parents for about two weeks earlier this month, Jones said. Megan Boswell and Wood visited her mother almost daily at his home, he added.

Megan Boswell told a local TV station Monday that her mother, Angela, had taken Evelyn to a campground in Mendota and that Angela Boswell threatened her to stay silent. But Jones questioned the validity of the claim that her mother took the child, given that they were frequently in contact at his home.

“They were hanging with my daughter every day for two weeks. Why would you hang with somebody that took your child?” he said, referring to his granddaughter and Wood.

While I know that water is a key feature when children are missing, is there a tip pointing to water? My reason for asking is that a much better "hiding" place in East TN is in the mountains. IMHO

Here's the info we have in the timeline for the arrest.

February 21, 2020 - AB and WM were arrested on fugitive warrants in Wilkes County, North Carolina, while driving a stolen 2007 BMW, Tennessee license plate 3M9-6W9. (Stolen BMW is HW’s mothers vehicle). Both waived extradition. WM claimed the BMW was a gift from "MB". AB and WM are both charged in Sullivan County, Tennessee with theft of property over $2,500 in connection with the stolen car. AB also faces a violation of probation charge. AB and WM will remain in custody without bond in North Carolina until the Sullivan County Sheriff's Office can return them to Tennessee. The vehicle was spotted by deputies with the Wilkes County Sheriff’s Office on February 21 in Elkin, N.C. It was later stopped in Traphill, N.C. WM, 33, was identified as the driver, and AB was identified as the passenger.

Ok, so I guess that Tuesday was the 18th which would coincide with the report to LE concerning the missing child. So basically right before the Amber Alert was released Hunter and Megan gave her mother the car. I think.
