Right. I know. I'm not saying the person behind this affadavit is lying. I also don't think DJ was lying either.

It was the person rolling up in the driveway who has a substantial history of lying that is probably the source of this confusion.

yeah just depends what the task is and what its for but federal tend to have better access and better tools to work with, its why its always good to have them if you need them on a case for tech based stuff

i know some of the tools they have access to and they are quite powerful and a little scary if you knew what they can do with them, one of the things i know they have will probably be going bonkers with everyone mentioning Evelyn online

Algorithm and machine learning based tech, like the ones you are referring to, are getting better and better at weeding out background “noise”. I’d be surprised if they haven’t broken out these tools already, especially with regards to SM and mobile comms with those within the proximity of this case.

I think they will get some breaks this way, but I think old fashioned police work and someone breaking or getting loose lips will make the difference in this case.

Maybe because she doesn’t know? I mean she’s got a history, but the only person pointing their finger at her is MB who is the most dishonest person in this situation.

But also she could be part of a cover up for her mom and boyfriend as well. Maybe her mom threatened her and quilted her. Maybe grandma and boyfriend were watching the baby and something happened and they said well if you were a good mom you would have never left her with us and blah blah blah and they'll take your unborn baby away too you rat us out. I think there is probably a lot of fear and dysfunction in Megan's life plus she learned her lying from the best I bet.

yeah i don't think this is a heavy tech based case at all where all sorts of things are needed, its more just background checking and looking for chatter or evidence

I am not actually new, been a member since 2012 - I guess I just haven’t posted enough. I certainly don’t want to get into trouble now but, if you google affidavit of complaint with MBs name, I believe you will get the un-redacted version.

I don't think MB is covering for her mom at all. To believe this, I must also believe that MB is so calculating that she'd go on the local news and feign indignation towards and spew irreverent vitriol about her mom in attempt to convince us she couldn't possibly be covering for her mom, while she truly is.

I do not think we are dealing with a mastermind here. We are dealing with an inexperienced teenager who did something bad and is trying to take the spotlight off of her.

I have tried playing catch up on these threads all day and I am finally all caught up.
So th grms bf shows up wet, that's not a good sign, maybe a piece of useful info.
❤ Love his grandma's bluntness and honesty by the way.
Today has filled me, and I am sure many of you, with may mixed emotions and thoughts.
Before I head to bed I have to tell you guys I am truly impressed with how everyone speaks thier minds, but is also accepting and respectful of others opinions. That is the only way anything in a group like this can be accomplished and you guys play very well together.

I don't know if this was discussed on any of the thread pages I've missed, but did anyone else find it interesting that originally 12/26 was the first last reported date. This probably came from MB. Then it officially changed to the sitter's date range. Then! MB, in her interview Monday night said sometime it was sometime before Christmas.

Now, let me be brutally honest. When it comes to memory, I forget literal conversations from yesterday, but even I wouldn't be confused about a significant event and its proximity to a BENCHMARK date like Christmas.

Me thinks she originally said 12/26...then police inquired about Evelyn's Christmas, so MB backtracked on that. Probably just another inconsistency.

I wonder if MB didn’t throw the ethnicity thing out there as some sort of red herring to distract LE. I also think that is what she did by suggesting EB was in a campground in Mendota. She sent LE in almost the exact opposite direction of where her mother and WM were, and yes, I believe she knew where they were headed.

None of this is random.
