Question for our verified medical professionals: Can a child die from an untreated broken arm ? And if so, can a death from that occur after a period of weeks or a month ?
A broken arm....less likely than other broken bones. I've taken care of children with broken arms who continued to not seek treatment for days or longer but just favored the arm and made parents question something wasnt right and they finally brought them in and it was broken. Swelling of the arm can cause compartment syndrome(loss of circulation to other parts like fingers) and lead to gangrene and infection possibly. My sister walked around with slight limb with a broken bone for 2 weeks and no signs of infection. Another friend the same went to school and never did go to a physician. As a pediatric nurse my gut instincts would say a child her age if she had a broken arm she would be extremely fussy thus leading to parental frustrations and anger and possibly more injuries. Now if the fracture was an open one thru the skin- yes more likely for infection and death. But most arm fractures are not thru the skin. Most abuse cases in Evelyn's age we actually seen more femur(leg) fractures parents blamed on learning to walk and femur fractures can result in death quicker without treatment and the child would be in a great deal of pain. Also another common thing in her age is "nurses elbow" which is where the child is pulled up or dropped down by the arms and the bones in the elbow comes out of socket and actually looks and seems like it's broken but most times goes back in place with certain movements. My daughter had this and we thought her arm was broken just from her dad moving her from his shoulders via her arms. When they xrayed her arm it went back into place. Just a little insight into possibilities. Also a child her age truely does have alot of bruises due to learning to walk it's very difficult to determine abuse vs natural causes. Children bump their heads on coffee tables, fall off things when climbing, they lose their balance and land on toys. In her age you look for fingerprint bruises on the buttocks, face and arms.

Just thinking about this employee stating that she seen EB 2 to 3 weeks ago and called tip in this morning... Amber alert has been out a week, so that shows that this alert is SLOWLY circulating. If you are not a "news junkie", the likely-hood of knowing this is going on is slim! I am just praying that others will also come late in the investigation with tips and this baby is found!

I can’t link because of SM TOS, but IMO the tip was made prior to this morning to at least one LE agency. Possibly it was sent to the one they’re referencing this morning and they acted on it. I knew about this well before that news report, but couldn’t post it because there were no MSM links on it.

Usually Amber Alerts are sent out to all phones in the area and sometimes state wide I believe? I always get them on my phone as an alert when they are issued nearby. So either people ignored it and are now piecing things together...or could also be over thinking things causing them to believe they saw them. I so hope that people just took awhile to put things together

They went out pretty much area wide here in NE TN, (and from what I heave heard, statewide) but it wasn’t utilized across state lines (in NC for instance). TBI said yesterday they haven’t issued it (or requested it) because they just don’t have any solid information to base that request.

Will be interesting to see if they expand this to NC since it’s now fairly active in this investigation.

Also says that LE never requested a polygraph from her and that they don’t even have the capability for one locally. TBI would need to do it, and she hasn’t been scheduled for one or asked to schedule one

Lol @ even lying about being preggers.

Does anything ever come out of her mouth that is not fabricated in her imagination?

Prediction: She will claim she was indeed pregnant at the time of the interview (where she claimed she was) but miscarried later that evening in a poor attempt to cover up this doosey.

I cant not verify this info because it wasnt in MSM but...SM leads me to believe this tip was called in last week.

from the pregnancy article, snipped by me “
Sheriff Cassidy has been adamant that Boswell hasn't been telling the truth throughout the investigation.

“Everytime we talk to her, the story changes. I’m serious when I say that. Every single time.” “

Good grief, this chick.
She's a big fan of the long game. It scares the crap out of me. Just living it up, in her weird world of delusion.

It’s Casey Anthony all over again, seriously. It’s scaring me because it makes me wonder if she actually is following what CA did, here in her case. Right down to pointing the finger at a parent. I don’t predict a good ending here, sadly

I wonder whether KFC still has surveillance footage from "weeks ago."

Cloud storage is so cheap and easy these days there’s no reason they shouldn’t have at least 30 days of footage. I have 10 days for my house.

Thank goodness we’re past the days of re-recording over the same video tape!
