I hope we don't need to many more of these new threads

I was thinking what if poor baby Evelyn was deceased and someone hid her under the home with the pillow, then moved her but the pillow was left behind? Would they still put up crime scene tape if this was the case?

But then again, I can’t figure out who would tip off LE to get the pillow, but not lead them to Evelyn.

I guess someone who thought the baby was still in the pillow could tip them off.

I think LE should make reward for information leading to discovery of Evelyn? I don't know, I just think it's the worst thing that a mother and grandmother can be so coldhearted. I also think that MB should be sterilized... thats just my opinion.

I still think WM might have given the pillow tip. As to why he didn't lead LE to Evelyn, I don't know. Maybe he doesn't know, if he came into it after the fact. I wouldn't want to know if I were him.

If Evelyn was smothered with a pillow, would LE be able to tell that? I mean beyond possible vomit and saliva?

I don’t know if they’d have physical evidence on the pillow itself but if it provided corroborating evidence to someone’s story it could help LE understand what happened. For example if someone said the baby was suffocated with a pillow and the person who did it hid the pillow in a hole under the house and LE actually found a pillow in a hole under the house... if I’m LE, that witness just gained some credibility and now I have concrete evidence to confront my suspect with. Depending on the circumstances it may not 100% prove your case but when you have nothing something can be everything

I was just thinking about something. Would it be possible for Evelyn to be accidentaly smothered by an adult rolling over on top of her while sleeping in the same bed? Or is she already "too big" for something like that to happen?

it would at least add to your chain of custody of circumstantial evidence

Here in Ohio, if the mother files for child support, Child Support Enforcement Agency (CSEA) will do a DNA test on any prospective fathers (unless the parents were married at the time of birth). If TN is the same, there might well be DNA on file.

DNA from both parents is available at any time so if LE wants to know if a DNA specimen they find on any potential item is Evelyn's, it won't be hard to determine... "yes or no" if this DNA tested belongs to the child of EP and MG. They don't need a pre-existing, verifiable sample of Evelyn so, no worries there.

Evelyn was big for this. IMO. anything can happen but I don't see this as a scenario

After I watched that video, I caught myself just staring outside through my french doors and crying. It was so cold and wet from snow that day, and I've followed so many cases where children have been disposed of in wooded areas or water sources. Ugh. I can't even let my mind go there today. I'm so exhausted.

((((Evelyn))))

I didn’t watch the video footage they released of her for a couple days because I knew I couldn’t handle it. Wasn’t any easier seeing it two days later.

Yes, I think she would be a bit big for something like that to happen. But if a passed out adult spent 8 hours on top of a 15-month-old baby, that could have happen no? I honestly have no idea. If the adult was not responsive for some reason, if you know what I mean.

I get it. I doubt that MB was co sleeping though.

Do they collect DNA for people who enlist in the military? It would be wise to do so if someone is injured beyond recognition during battle. At any rate, the father is still available and it would seem he'd be more than willing to provide a DNA sample to LE under these circumstances. If not, LE can always request a court order, with just cause, and get a sample down the road.

Around the 15 minute mark they say they spoke with HW’s father at the chicken shack. Said he barely ever saw the baby. Hmm a bit different than HW’s original interview statement of never seeing that baby....

So Hunter Wood's father said they barely saw Evelyn. So much for Hunter's statements that he'd only ever seen a picture of Evelyn.

Though, I'm not at all surprised by this. Exactly what you would expect from a lying liar who lies.

It sounds like she’s saying HW’s father told them that. She says the family owns the Chicken Shack (which Lol I thought it was his?) and they went asking for HW and his father said “we don’t really know any information, we barely saw that baby as it was.”

O/T but, that is exactly what I think happened in the Lisa Irwin case. Lisa has never been found. :(
