Thanks for sharing, @PommyMommy

Interesting takeaway from that article - "a few days after Angela Boswell's estranged husband reported Evelyn missing".

So TBsr and AB are not actually divorced? So TBsr's new wife must technically be his girlfriend. I suppose none of this has any relevance, just adds more tangles to the web.

These stories help keep EB’s name in the media. You never know if someone might have seen something, maybe someone who was in town over the holidays and left, but doesn’t keep up with TN news on a regular basis.

Not letting her name fade away could help trigger memories overall — sometimes people don’t realize that they might have witnessed something significant.

Great point!

Show of hands, if you’ve been following the case since February 19th, would you have guessed that Evelyn or her remains would have been found by March 4th? (I’m having trouble wording this question correctly, but basically if someone asked you during the first week, would you have anticipated that 18 days later Evelyn would still be missing.)

Also, I’m very curious to see if any members currently believe that LE has a very good idea of what is going on and is close to a conclusion, but keeping it quiet?
No, I'm not surprised at all that she hasn't been found. She wasn't reported missing for two months.

LE is keeping quiet for good reason. This is an active investigation. MOO

I’m not surprised they haven’t found Evelyn. How long did it take to find Caylee? Baby Lisa has never been found. When the person/persons don’t even report a missing baby until 2 months later.......she might never be found.
6 months to find little Caylee

If you need something to do between news cycles, please listen to Tricia's podcasts. She has quite a few now that include discussion about Evelyn.

I'm linking the latest video from last night below... Evelyn's case is sprinkled throughout, and the video is almost two hours long, so if you don't have time to watch the whole thing, I recommend skipping to about the 31-minute mark.

Watching WM with the blowing kisses, the "I love yous," the winking...it's intolerable. What a skanky bunch. Why is AB there to support him in court instead of looking for her granddaughter? (I mean this as a rhetorical question, of course).

If any of this mangy mob were truly innocent and ignorant about Evelyn's fate, then WM should have used his ability to communicate from his seat in a plea to find Evelyn. Oh, he loves his girlfriend so much! Isn't she the grandmother of a missing toddler?????? Then why isn't he shouting from the rooftops that Evelyn must be found? (Again rhetorical).

It's just that this video, for whatever reason, hit me worse than some of the others. They simply do not care. He's got his public moment in court, momentarily not behind bars, and he uses his time to remind AB that he loves her. They simply do not care about Evelyn. Which we all already know, all have commented about it a million times, but this video just reinforced it for me.

I’m just frustrated. Normally I’d say it would be a good thing, rallying community support, but it seems like fluff when the perception is that not enough is behind done to find her.

Your frustration is jumping out at me right through my monitor, Honey. I feel ya. :)

Oh what I could say if only I hadn't bitten my tongue clean in half trying not to talk about 26 year old "grandma". But ...B*tch, please.

I'm not sure we know enough, from this distance, to know what unseen efforts are underway. At this time, searching in the minds that know answers are more important than searching aimlessly or asking for tips nationwide to people who know nothing.

Let's hope that the TBI and FBI are conducting the interrogations. They should have much more experience than the local LE.

Your frustration is warranted but maybe misdirected.

When is hunting season in TN? For the locals, are there large areas of woodland there? MB strikes me as someone who imitates and parrots what she sees around her rather than coming up with original ideas herself. I think she may have disposed of evidence or even poor Evelyn somewhere she "thinks" is remote. Unfortunately with this amount of time, I think we'll have hunters or hikers stumble upon evidence or remains rather than find something during an organized LE search. JMO

I agree. Watching these two gave me the feeling they think they got away with something. It is just a feeling I got. The smirking, smiling, kiss blowing and I love you’s behavior is not how one would act if they were worried or concerned about a missing child!

Lots of woods. All over the place. Like I said, I actually live in The Cherokee National Forest (same county), and I'm less than 30 minutes from Blountville. If MB (or whomever) wanted to dump a body in a random wooded area, there are soooooo many places to do that without it ever being found.

ETA: We once found a severed cow head (just the head), surrounded by bic lighters off of a service road several years back while hiking. And the cow head wasn't burned at all. Not even singed. Try to explain that.

If only there was a balance of updates ..actual news indicating progress, even if slow, and/or what they are doing, even if somewhat limited or vague to balance the community support awareness.

A local mom is encouraging people to change their porch lights to pink or purple, and light the way home for missing toddler Evelyn Boswell. She says all you really need is a lightbulb and a sharpie ⁦⁦@news5wcyb

How often does LE speak to Evelyn’s mother, now she is in prison? Or do they not, and everything now happens at court level?

I seriously wonder if MB is cheerfully sitting it out in her concrete box, thinking she’ll be freed soon. After all, and as another WSer said recently, that girl and reality are not the closest of friends.

I have no idea what prompted me to share the cow head story. It's gruesome and I am definitely oversharing out of exhaustion. Taking a break now. :(
