East Tennessee University Forensics were on the scene tonight. They will provide some serious insight into to timeline and other things that will be valuable to the prosecution of this case.
We can only pray and We Will and We Will Have Faith. This can't turn into another Kaylee because of time.

This. I believe MB killed her and she had her family’s help in covering things up

I am all for family loyalty, but where was the loyalty for poor baby Evelyn???????????

More importantly, WHY don’t people with zero maternal/paternal instincts just use protection for goodness’ sake! Instead, this poor baby suffered living with these druggie wackos for her entire life, until the day that one of them killed her. MOO.

Sheriff said a property belonging to a family member in the 500 block of muddy creek

  • #724
Well, now it says this:

TBI finds remains believed to be those of 15-month-old Evelyn Boswell

whereas earlier, I would have sworn it said "property at the 500 block of"; but repeat comments about crappy TriCities newsmedia, I guess.

WJHL | Tri-Cities News & Weather
Authorities believe they have found the remains of missing 15-month-old Evelyn Boswell.
This news site still says that.

"investigators searched the property of a family member in the 500 block of Muddy Creek Road on Friday evening after receiving new information in the case."

Thanks, that's what I remembered. Probably because the sheriff was the first person speaking; so when I was refreshing for real time updates, I probably read his words a few times along the way.

But nobody did say she was found in the house.

They said "on the property".

Which, I grant I haven't gone on Google Maps to look at it or anything, but it sounds like a sizeable and maybe not too developed area, and we already know from a search underneath the tenant's trailer, formerly MB's trailer, that trailers exist on the property.

Maybe there are multiple trailers, and a lot of meadows/rocks/trees/bushes involved, umbrella'ed under the canopy of "property".
Well?

Well, now we have an update from a local that it's a fairly sprawling property with a lot of potential hiding places; so the fact that it took a lot of time to search everywhere on the property is not surprising or sinister; but logical.

Evelyn Boswell: Missing Tennessee toddler's family racked by chaos

This article states:

Tommy Boswell Sr. operates — with Tommy Jr. — a paving company from the compound, which now includes three manufactured homes, a double bay garage, a work shed and a stable of dump trucks, heavy equipment and personal vehicles. A Sullivan County Sheriff's Office captain says Elijah and Charlotte are living there now with Tommy Sr.
Not "now". TB's had custody of them for awhile His mom lives there and he let AB live in one house when they split because of the children and was why he was arrested when she was bringing men to the house and only the Lord knows what else was going on and why he was arrested that time but the charges were reduced and he plea.

I think they meant a water well...

Well - the noun.

Has she been there the whole time?
Had she been moved/planted to shift suspicion?
Who had access?
How was she not found before tonight?
Where was she transported from?

amazing how it just leads to more questions for this family.

I think they meant a water well...

"Well", for that we'd have to ask our local, no? ;)

I wouldn't rule it out; however I do add just in case, that a water well is unlikely to be the excuse for AB's boyfriend being wet up to the knees, unless he had also broken his knees going down it in the bargain. ;)

For those of you who keep saying this was a conspiracy (the whole family is in on it), can you help me understand why you think that?

I'm having trouble understanding why in the world an entire family would conspire to kill a 15-month-old baby. ??? MOO

They are all such twisted individuals in the B family we probably won’t know unless it comes out in the media through LEOs but I don’t trust any of them in terms of the family and I feel very sad for the officers that had to come across that scene tonight

and the ultimate sadness For that little angel Evelyn who countless people would have given anything to have her. So gut wrenching

I will never understand how so many good people can’t have children but yet monsters like this keep having them

I am thinking this was MB and maybe later AB found out as well as others but I think Evelyn's life was taken by her own mother definitely.

I really don’t think grandpa and his gf were involved. But hopefully the truth will prevail and whoever knew and was involved all spend family time together in prison.
RIP SWEET ANGEL EVELYN <3

AB’s boyfriend was wet up to his knees in NC, not TN. The remains were found in TN.

I hope somehow LE got their hands on the Chevy Cruze.

IMHO
Well that would be debunked seeing how they were caught in NC in stolen vehicle.... ??

I still have so many questions about the trip to North Carolina and why WMs pants were soaked, the lie about the busted water pipe in a hotel, the KFC surveillance video. The list goes on. I guess it will all come out but there’s so many twists and turns to this

It doesn’t say property. It says “home” in the news articles.

Edit: Tried to add the quote, but it didn’t work. Here is what PommyMommy posted a page back: “Search warrant results in discovery of human remains in missing Tennessee toddler case
Based on new information related to the disappearance of Evelyn Mae Boswell, authorities recently searched a home belonging to a family member of the toddler's mother, Megan Boswell, according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.”
That is not the TBI's wording, however. MOO

AMBER Alert: Evelyn Mae Boswell
This evening, as part of the ongoing investigation into the disappearance of Evelyn Mae Boswell, and acting on new information developed in the case, TBI Agents and Detectives with the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office searched a property belonging to a family member of Evelyn’s mother, Megan Boswell, in the 500 block of Muddy Creek Road in Blountville.
