Evelyn’s memorial moved due to property owner not wanting it on his land

This is hella confusing to me. TBsr owns the driveway, doesn't he ? So is he the one complaining about the traffic ? Does he also own the land the tree memorial was on ?

ETA: I mean, I can understand if the driveway is being blocked, because his paving business operates from there, and the trucks might not be able to get out, but why couldn't people just park at the church and walk over to the tree. It's not like it's far.

I wonder if the "Evelyn broke her arm while staying with her father" story was simply hogwash and was used to explain the long/extended absence of Evelyn.

Ex) "How much longer is Evelyn going to be staying with her Father/how much leave time does he have from the military, certainly you should have met up to get her back by now?!"

"Evelyn broke her arm while staying there and ......
A) She needs to heal first
B) CPS got involved

Didnt MB use CPS as an excuse at some point for Evelyn's absence or am I imagining things or confusing cases?

IF he really knew nothing about Evelyns death or her being there, I would imagine its a very hard thing to deal with. Imagine having to come to terms with that situation yourself. I think I may see it kind of like a constant in the face reminder. And with the younger children having to see it, it could just be that upsetting.

Yeah, but what's confusing to me is that the memorial was only moved a few feet.

i think i saw there was 3 property boundaries, one if the church one is the boswell family and who the other is i have no idea

but i can understand not wanting droves and droves of people on your land including all the reporters and police around

if it was not the boswell family i mean

For those of you who can't understand why TB might have moved MB and Evelyn out of his house and into the trailer, let me pose a hypothetical for you.

Let's say that MB and Evelyn were living in TB's house, along with TB's significant other and his 2 minor children. And let's say that TB is a recovering addict, and perhaps his SO is as well (again, this is a hypothetical). And there are minor children in the home. Let's say that MB was doing drugs in TB's home...and perhaps doing other things or hanging with other people who might cause issues within the household. Let's even go so far as to hypothesize that MB was stealing money from TB. Could you understand under those circumstances why TB might have booted MB from his home and into a trailer that he owned ? Removed, but no so far removed that he couldn't have some control over her, or at the very least, keep an eye on her.

Just curious if that hypothetical might change anyone's mind.

That sign (shown in GlockMom’s post #309) may have upset family enough to want it moved too.

I feel the same, untreated head injury or broken bone! Didn’t want to get done for abuse so seeks no medical attention and the worst happens.
I think it would be easy to establish if HW ever meet Evelyn, there would be people to verify that I’m sure.
All moo, but I don’t think she is delusional, she is just selfish and trying to cover up.

Or simply didn't report because she wanted to continue to get benefits. We have seen that a number of times.

And...(I'm not even adding an IMO to this one because I live in this area and am very familiar with the culture)...she was most certainly recieving benefits from the State. One of those benefits would be Food Stamps (single mother, low income) which can be exchanged with willing participants for cash.

What was she doing with her money?

Also, maybe got child support from EB's dad in the military.

I think it's even simpler than that. New grandma and MB didn't get along. Probably because MB is a liar causing issues and was used to running the house. I doubt new grandma appreciated that.

i thought that was possible as well ,its not fair to paint the entire family until we find out who did what

if it ends up being just MB or MB and AB then its just them and the rest of the family dont deserve the hate directed at them

I think you may have hit the bull's eye on this, because I truly can not understand how moving the memorial a few feet would help with a traffic issue.

I see regret in my very near future because it is soooo far beyond my bedtime. That said, I have one more thought to pose to the group before I can settle my mind for sleep.

Where did all of her money go? TBsr/Fiancee claimed that MB took out a loan on the Chevy Cruz, even though it was fully paid for. Family provided a place to live and watched Evelyn (so no child care expenses). MB was enrolled in school and would (IMO) receive money from financial aid. She was working at the Chicken Shack. And...(I'm not even adding an IMO to this one because I live in this area and am very familiar with the culture)...she was most certainly recieving benefits from the State. One of those benefits would be Food Stamps (single mother, low income) which can be exchanged with willing participants for cash.

Great post, sets me thinking. Do we know when she got this loan?

Thank you also for your kindness in what you did for us here for baby Evelyn. I shed yet more tears thinking that Evelyn will never know the full love a family brings.

This post brought to mind something else....
Do you think he would have moved them in there alone if he thought that Evelyn was being abused or mistreated by MB? I don't think he would. I read a lot of posts that suggest MB was possibly mistreating Evelyn for a long perioid of time before this happened, IMO I think if he saw anything to make him think that Evelyn was in danger then he would have kept them closer...

Attorney: Mother of Blountville toddler ‘upset’ to learn remains found | Local News | heraldcourier.com

[...]

Kingsport attorney C. Brad Sproles attended Friday night’s news conference in Blountville, where Sullivan County Sheriff Jeff Cassidy announced that remains — believed to be those of Evelyn — were found at a property in the 500 block of Muddy Creek Road.

[...]

After Friday’s news conference, Sproles said he went to the county jail to inform his client about the discovery. He said she was upset by the news, but he declined to further describe the mother’s reaction.

“No matter how you are connected to this case, it’s a tragedy,” said Sproles, when asked about his reaction to the news.

Sproles said he does not believe his client has spoken with investigators since the news broke because he has asked to be present when she is interviewed.

Upset, not devastated or inconsolable, just upset. I am not sure that would be the way I would describe any mother I have seen or know who has suffered the loss of a child.

This is JMO, but whoever placed Evelyn on Sr.'s property may have done it for possibly either 1 of 2 reasons, or both. 1) whoever did it has immature and/or out of touch mindset reality/thinking skills and probably thought that they were so much smarter than even LE/investigators that Evelyn would never be found, or possibly ever even be reported missing for that matter, or 2) Evelyn was placed there as some sorry sick type of revenge tactic and/or to try and place blame on somebody else.
