And listening to whomever needed to blow their nose the whole time.

I hope they were using a tissue, throwing it directly into the trash, making sure they were at least 6 feet from others and washing their hands thoroughly for at least 20 seconds afterwards.

What I can't imagine is the fact that little girl loved her mother, she didn't know what kind of monster she is.....its horrible how babies are so innocent and someone can take total advantage of that. This woman was given a beautiful baby. She didn't deserve her.

I say that phrase because I mean it. :)

Not anymore you don't. ;)

<modsnip: unnecessary> I just want to say I don’t believe any of them not even TBsr or his SO. Unless their entire house and surrounding area stinks on a daily basis and it’s the norm for them ...how did they not smell decay or something I am sorry but I just don’t buy it.. reporting her missing was in my eyes is just some more twisted BS from “the B compound’. One would have to believe they never set foot in that shed this entire time
and I find that very hard to believe

<modsnip>

It’s a 10 acre property. There’s a lot of room.

I haven’t been in my shed in months, and it’s right in my backyard. I don’t need the lawnmower or the patio furniture cushions this time of year, so I have no reason to go in there.

Unnecessary. :p

Not sure what this article is trying to get at, but I'll drop it here anyway.

Washington County, Virginia Sheriff Blake Andis addresses community concerns in Mendota

( A serial killer in tiny little Mendota, Va. ? Who would have thought ? And from further reading, it turns out that at least 2 of the women were from our immediate area. One from Elizabethton, one from Johnson City. Color me clueless. There's a really good article about that in The Washington Post for those of you who are subscribed. )

Her eyes seem to be darting with each thought, like a cornered animal looking for an escape route.

Like she’s thinking, what can I say that explains Evelyn being found wearing the exact outfit I described? Who can I pin this on? How can I spin this? Why didn’t I say she was in a Christmas dress last time I saw her? Can I admit to lying, but say I was threatened to lie? Etc. anything to avoid responsibility.

It does kind of remind me (a little) of Erika Murray, and other women who hide dead babies in boxes, closets, etc. — in that they seem to have disassociation, total lack of self-responsibility, and often extreme uncleanliness in the home — plus a brazen belief that they can have this huge secret and nobody will find out if they just keep acting like nothing happened. Often they will keep lying no matter what, and show no emotion when caught in the lies. Weird.

O/T but how do you shoot 3 women in the head accidentally, on 3 different occasions ? And one of the women was shot twice. Dagnabbity !

At about the 1:53 mark , watch how her eyes dart all over the courtroom when the TBI agent describes finding the body in the exact same clothing she reported Evelyn last seen wearing. She's almost frantically checking around the room to gauge everyone's reaction to that. And to me, she actually looks like a cornered little girl for the first time. IMO

TBI Agent confirms Megan Boswell made 'inculpatory statements' with regard to Evelyn Boswell's death

(ETA : In truth, when I saw that, it was the first time I thought to myself, " You guys better have this kid on constant suicide watch. "

Just watched this video again. I’m now thinking her eyes dart around as if to say “See everyone, I was telling the truth... she was in exactly the clothes I last saw her in... And then I handed her off to my mother.” (Paraphrasing her possible thoughts).

I think we may be in for a game of “She said / She said”.
Hold onto your seats.
Gonna be a wild ride.

Just woke up thinking there’s at least some good news: the judge and court allowed live media coverage of even this motion to increase her bond. Looks like we will have trial coverage if it goes that far.

I know we've all said/thought this before, but that poor, beautiful baby. Heartbroken after watching her toddle around in that video. :(

I'm sorry Zenzen, but I'm another who respectfully disagrees. She should have been actually put to bed, in her bed, comfortable and alive with her stuffed animals etc. Anything short of that cannot be prettified.

i am not saying in anyway that it makes any of this right and agree 100% that Evelyn should be alive
unfortunately that isn't the case and until we have the details making assumptions and jumping to conclusions does not help either

maybe it was cold blooded murder, maybe a terrible accident or neglect... we do not know nor do we have all the information to judge
we each make these assumptions with personal bias due to our life experiences and all our moral outrage and distaste for this family is being shared all over the internet often without any real filter

MB should have to accept the consequences of her actions but ignoring her life and experiences whilst applying our own seems a little arrogant IMO

this girl obviously has not been given a balanced and secure upbringing, she may not have the emotional tools or maturity to raise a child yet the child remained in her care, was that in EB's best interest... with 20/20 hindsight absolutely not.

many factors went in to the death of this precious child, there seems to be some statements that child services had been involved at times and if so they chose to leave EB in MB's care, if consistent abuse had been a factor where where the people making reports or seeking to get help for this child?
So many what if's
its easy to throw MB under the bus but how easily 16-17yrs earlier could the same thing have happened to her??

i do want MB to face the consequences and as she matures i think she will have a lot of time to face the memories of what happened, but i would also hope that someone shows her a little goodness and a modicum of kindness.
maybe i will feel different after the autopsy results come through but maybe i won't.

not everyone has the ability or strength of character to rise above their circumstance.

Exactly ! Don't shoot for premeditated murder unless you can absolutely nail it, don't bring in new science that a jury can't comprehend, and for the love of God, no " heart sticker evidence ". K.I.S.S.
Exactly!!

Sullivan County Sheriff's Office moves memorial, announces donation plans for the toys
The sheriff's office also announced plans to distribute the toys for abused, neglected and at-risk children in the state.

scoso says
We continue to be in awe of our community. As you can see, the memorial to Evelyn at the Sullivan County Sheriff's Office continues to grow. Due to rain in the forecast, we will be moving the memorial in an effort to preserve it. It will now be located under the overhang at the center of the building, where it will remain for a few more days. Once the memorial is taken down, we plan on distributing the stuffed animals to agencies across the State of Tennessee that help abused, neglected, or at-risk children.

Your love, support, and compassion over the last three weeks means more than you know. On behalf of Evelyn and all of us at the Sullivan County Sheriff's Office, Thank You!

all toys donated to memorial will be donated to the community, aww thats nice

I
Why would anyone in their right mind store a deceased body where they know it will eventually be discovered? Something is off in this case (well most of it is) I sure wish they would say *where* poor little Evelyn's remains were found on the property.

Who allowed the *clothing, toys, and diapers* to be brought to TB'sr residence, and who transported these items and when? I wonder if it was all left behind at the trailer she (MB) was kicked out of?

I am full of questions but no way to get answers.
I never thought of that! Could a bag full of body and things be just left in the trailer and they just assumed because when they looked in it, they saw clothes, toys and diapers, that it was EBs things? MOO. Could the odor been thought away by just a trashy trailer? I would think the odor would have been distinct, but of course it’s MOO! And whoever cleaned the trailer stored things without even knowing? MOO, just something to ponder until we hear something.

Good post, and I commend your compassion.

I’m going to work harder to keep an open mind, and as you mentioned, the autopsy results may sway the direction.

But I’m worried. I went back and did some reading on the CA case. Some of the jurors on the CA case spoke of the reasons for their verdict.

Some juror comments that jump out at me:

"Bad behavior is not enough to prove a crime" and her actions could be blamed on her family dynamic.

Yeah, the behavior was bizarre, but what I took from that is that the family was very dysfunctional.

Because they were so dysfunctional, that was the norm for them.

They didn't show us a motive.

Casey Anthony Juror: 'Sick to Our Stomachs' Over Not Guilty Verdict

I believe we are all hoping for the same thing - that the truth will come out about how Evelyn died, and that justice be appropriate.
