If this has been addressed & I missed it.
My apologies.

AB stated in her recent interview that she hadn't seen Evelyn since September 2019.
The bondsman for WM (at the time of his interview), stated that WM told him, he had only seen Evelyn twice. Once at the beginning of his relationship with AB & again in November 2019.
Odd . . . WM seen Evelyn 2 mths later than AB, who thought she was in Foster Care....? I'm sure the bondsman interview will be chalked up to a "misunderstanding."

Question:
In reference to the sealed autopsy & identification of Evelyn . . .
Anyone know if the family be allowed to publish an obituary &/or proceed with funeral arrangements?

I'm under the impression the coroner, autopsy, or gone missing for certain period of years is what is needed to legally pronounce a person deceased. JMO

She can do that from jail.
I agree! LB,Sr has responsibility of his 2 youngest children in his home & their well being would be compromised if he were to get MB out on bond.

How would their well being be compromised?

I honestly think she didn’t think anyone would ever find her. She thought she was safe saying what she had on.
I don't think she "thought" whatsoever past the moment she was speaking. If anything, she may have thought giving a description of what she was last wearing gave validity to her report. What she was last wearing obviously is very vivid in Megan's mind - a tiny consolation to the fact she will never be able to "unsee" the last moments of Evelyn's life or the vision of how her little lifeless body was disposed of so heartlessly.

Why would he bond her out? She's right where she belongs, IMO.

Lots of stress and unneeded and unwanted attention from media and the public. The children have already witnessed enough with the finding of the body there IMO... just my opinion but I wouldn't support my daughter in this situation!

Thank you... I wasn't sure how that would actually work.

Just my best guess, but there does need to be some type of legal decree for a person to deemed deceased afaik.

I’m starting to think a parent/stepparent (especially moms) saying “I believe they are safe and coming home” without visible tears is a big tell with missing children. Just based on MB and on the Gannon Stauch case.

I know innocent parents say this too, when they have hope — but usually they are crying when they say this, because they are yearning with every fiber of their being for it to be true. That yearning to just hold your child, safe, squeezes tears out of your very soul IMO. I’m thinking if you had something to do with them going missing, you actually know that’s not going to happen, so you don’t have that same emotional reaction. As a general rule, not an absolute.

IMO- I would think that this has had a very traumatic affect emotionally on 2 young children & would not be in the best interests of 2 young children to be exposed to anything else that could be detrimental to their well being emotionally. I am by no means saying he shouldn’t be involved as MB’s Father to ensure she is treated fairly throughout all legal process’s and provide her with the emotional support as her Father should.

Look at her contributions to the investigation, ya'll!

RP: Are you cooperating as much as you can, with TBI and the Sullivan county sheriffs department?

MB: (nods) I am

RP: Just tell me, how so are you constantly on the phone with them, talking to them about the tips, anything like that?

MB: Yeah, and I’ve looked into stuff online myself, like, you know, people are like circulating pictures around being like ‘Oh, this is Evelyn’ you know what I’m saying and like that kind of thing so, and like Saturday nobody would answer me and I like, blew their phones up. *

Looking at pictures on line and stalking LE. This chick is too much.

lol and she’s not even saying she’s the one circulating photos! She’s just looking at photos that other people are circulating.

Thanks again for transcribing!

There are certainly a lot of subjects that MB claims, “I don’t want to get into that...”

Oh, good one. Noted ;)
