We have a husband who was/is having an affair, spending nights in local hotels to be with the girlfriend, going out of town with the girlfriend on company time and dime, losing his job because of his actions..Spending money like there is no tomorrow....A big lump sum of of it being his wife's money too...

Right now I'm trying to wrap my mind around WHY someone would think ill of Gail?

I don't think it's that anyone who cares for Gail would think ill of her if she disappeared by choice. It's more that she may think ill of herself, and as a result may be very conflicted by all of the LE and media attention, etc.

Gail, if you're out there reading this-and I so hope you are- know you are loved, and not judged.

And we'll keep searching for you in the meantime, because we all care so much about you.

He did not have to publish it on the internet...he published it as public record at the courthouse. He also has not been seen looking for his wife...nor has he exhibited any concern for his wife or his children's feelings about his wife. He has however, lawyered up his Mom and his paramour and hired a PI to obfuscate his own culpability in anything that occurred. All JMO, of course.

Now, it may be that people like Arlene D have the best of intentions-but just imagine having your intimate secrets broadcast on television, radio and in print.

I cant even begin to imagine what that would feel like. I cant even begin to imagine what it would take to swallow that feeling and walk back into this firestorm.

I hope she is safe and I hope she can see that people love her desperately and want her to be well. I wish that she could reach out to anyone, even LE, and tell them she is OK. They dont have to tell anyone.

Great question. The issue with MP from day one with me has been the criminal defense atty, but it is just my opinion that he and his GF may have had something that might have caused issues related to work. Perhaps MP's mother could have been caught in the crossfire?

I can see that. I just feel from all that we have seen...that his behavior is beyond odd. His attorneys and the other attorneys have mostly spoken in the media about the issue relating to GP...it just looks bad, really bad for this lady...her poor children and it boggles the mind that she cannot be found. I pray...really pray that I am wrong and she is alive. I would not judge her if she was...and would make my apologies to MP at that time.

I think what is not being said/done speaks louder than words.

It was I whom again asked whether the children had been interviewed as I had not seen they had been so I must apologize as I simply find it truly odd these children have not been interviewed by LE

The only version of the story about the interior lock we have is AD's. No one else to my knowledge has mentioned it. Surely if it's okay for Confused to mention one part of AD's story, it's okay for me to mention another part of it?

My God this woman has completely vanished w/o a trace. The SMPD received three or more calls in the last year. The SMPD even gave her numbers to a safe house on the 29th of April...IMHO..Matt P is not the victim here, Gail P and her children are the victims...JMHO

Also, IF I disappeared w/o a trace I would be forever grateful to have a friend like AD and others doing everything within their power to find out what happened to me even If my darkest secrets had to be revealed...I've read a person is only as sick as his or her secrets...

I too would love for Gail to be alive, even IF she left on her own volition to escape him.. Sadly, I don't believe that is the case....

BeanE I do find this odd...the only thing I could imagine as a valid reason would be perhaps a fear that LE is coming down on the side of someone you view as a perpetrator and you are afraid the evidence would be compromised in some way. IDK.

I don't believe LE is concerned about potential evidence on them or they would ask for them or subpoena them or something. As with their seeming disinterest in the potential crime scenes, they seem to have their own gameplan here. They must know something we do not.

And not directed at you, BeanE but remember way back when, when no one was talking and WS'ers were all complaining because there was nothing out there...no LE news, no MSM? Since AD spilled her beans, there have been so many complaints about it and yet, without it, we'd all still be back where we were, knowing almost nothing. I'm just not sure her specific choice of venue, method, and manner of 'helping' to locate Gail is, or has been, very effective.

IMO she's not acting like a mature person about it all but then again, I've never had my best friend go missing.

Maybe when one feels desperate enough to get coverage, it's easier to drift to odd radio personalities and FB. I feel bad for her but glad that she's persistent and do not for a second believe she's behind this. I can't imagine a motive.

My question is WHY wouldn't LE be concerned IF there is evidence on the tapes that would or could prove Gail and the children were being subjected to abuse of some kind?
IIRC SB has stated to MSM something was going on at that residence..

Also, I'm wondering IF LE is looking into the claims made by Gail that she was being followed...
IF she was writing down license plate numbers, does LE have those numbers, and IF not WHY not? Where are those numbers and who's name were the plates registered in?

I just don't believe that those tapes show anything. AD's terms for turning them over are that Matt talk to the police (taken directly from one of her posts). I know I said this previously, but if those tapes show MP to be aggressive and abusive then how will this motivate him to talk to police? He'd be much happier if no one saw them, so AD keeping them to herself would be just fine (for him).

In this case (and I'm only referencing the tapes) it just doesn't add up. AD has been most aggressive in communicating her belief that Matt has been abusive to Gail and is behind her disappearance. I just believe that if these tapes added credibility to her case against MP they'd be out there. Copy them and protect the original, but get them out there to further show MP to be who she claims he is!

I'm not quite understanding the method behind the reason either, but what do I know? Perhaps, she isn't thinking clearly or could be she knows exactly what she is doing...Could be she has turned them over to LE..Who knows? JMHO..

ETA.. Bottom line as I see it, IF MP has never been abusive to Gail P. or to the children in all reality there is nothing for him to be concerned about..
