My gut tells me that Gail's siblings are still fighting for her, so I dont think they believe or have been told that this is a voluntary disappearance.

I would want to hear my sibling's voice telling me themself they are okay. I don't think I could believe it, until I heard it myself, from them. KWIM?

Oh, yes. I know EXACTLY what you mean. In fact- I'm not sure I'd believe it unless I both heard it from them- and had them say it in front of my face.

I agree, I believe Gail's family is doing their "own" thing as far as finding her and or information. Sure it would be nice to get certain people involved on sites like this and maybe some friends and extended family members are. It may not be their cup of tea to go on any kind of website. Surely they can follow web sites and see what is going on just like the rest of us do.

There seems to be quite a few people out there trying to keep Gail's name in the news and at the forefront, so the family does not necessarily have to be the once vocalizing everything since it seems Gail has a few good friends out there keeping it as mainstream as possible. Having friends do that may free up the family to do what they need to do in searching for her.

I know in the Stacy Peterson case here in Illinois there was one person constantly addressing the media. She was considered the "family spokesperson" your rarely heard from anyone else. If I recall she was not related to the family. Apparently a trusted friend. Sometimes it's a lot easier to have someone else do the speaking all the time.

Again, I don't believe she took off. Especially after speaking with her sister that morning. It's one thing if your not in touch or close to your family and you would just leave. It sounds to me like D and G were pretty close for sisters and she would not just take off without letting her sister know. My opinion only, but as we have all stated there really is nothing here that points directly to her taking off on her own.

I am just truly baffled that in all this time we still have all the same information we had when this started. NOTHING new has surfaced and that is just crazy to me!

The 3 SM props were under the terms of the DA/Attorney agreement. The AL prop search wasn't under that agreement - it was very early on - but it was just a cursory search - no forensics etc.

The 2 AL prop searches due to be done under the DA/Attorney agreement haven't been done yet, or haven't been reported if they have been done.

I agree Oriah. I would think given the number of jurisdictions involved here, they would say something to Gail's family.

I know the FBI announced their involvement and it appears they have stepped back a bit, just my opinion, which is what gives me pause.

Have there been any more LE based searches that anyone has seen?

Do you think the FBI has stepped back a bit due to the fact they have nothing to go on? I mean there is only so much you can do with the information that they have. I can see them scaling back on resources so they can be used elsewhere until there is a break, or any kind of new evidence arises.

So confused about the 'DA agreement'.

Trying not to be overly critial here...but what then were they 'searching' for?
I mean- if there are no warrants - what the heck is the use? Is that just me??

I have long been confused by the 'search' situation, as well as the turning over of potentially critical evidence to LE. I feel more and more that the reason behind MP's attorney, as well as the computers, Tammy, the money transfers, the PI(s) and the 'deal' to search properties, etc...is because MP (or GP-or both) had something much more to hide than a domestic situation.
Not to say a domestic issue did not exist- I just think there's a lot more going on here.
Anyone know if the Palmgren's and/or Tammy had company laptops?

BBM Very likely. Most people there in those positions do. I would be very surprised if they didn't. Of course, they would have been promptly returned at the time of termination. JMO

I thought of another that was out on the net - the Sandestin Resort. I may have spelled that incorrectly. But from what I found, that woman also thought a picture of Gail on the net was talking to her, so I dunno how reliable that one would be.

That was a user here named Showersinger. I think Showersinger said she called authorities, she was at least encouraged to. I know someone else said they did call, and a copy of that post has been sent to HCSO and later the FBI officer on the case. I can confirm that because I did it myself many weeks ago.

I know someone else said they did call, and a copy of that post has been sent to HCSO and later the FBI officer on the case. I can confirm that because I did it myself many weeks ago.

There was also a person on Facebook who said Gail probably ran off to Florida. I think it was in mid-May, and the comments were on the Facebook page of WCRBtv, but if they were on the wall then it would take an hour of scrolling to find it again.

Gail has connections to Florida, I am under the impression from online comments that MP does as well, so Florida makes sense as a place to check out.

Every day I check in here and hope to find an update on Gail. Three cases I have been watching have had major developments today. I had hope that Gail would also have been found today. Praying for Gail!

BBM-yes they would. I have seen MP cases kept on the books well after LE has spoken with the person who was reported. One was a case out of Las Vegas. When I spoke with the detective, he said that he could not inform the family because of the person's right to privacy...basically their right to walk away.

In a case like Gail's, it is really tricky because she has received so much publicity, if she called them or even if she has, I dont know what LE would do. They wouldnt make an announcement of course, but would they tell her family??

I dont know.

A bit of a side issue, I guess, but do people have the right to walk away from dependent kids? That complicates things legally I would think?

Was that a sighting? It sounds more like an off-hand comment, an opinion. I don't want to go scrolling through FB either lol if it wasn't stated as a sighting.

The way I read the TN, yes, if you make adequate arrangements for their care. I don't think there's any issue here. IANAL though.

Prayers for Gail and her children. Praying for the truth to be revealed as to what has really happened to her. I highly suspect foul play is involved and she isn't missing of her own volition. She vanished almost five months ago.
IMO The person/s responsible for her disappearance need some real pressure applied to them and brought to justice...JMHO
