I was relaying what was said to me in a message sent to me...I thought it may be a message you might have been interested in hearing about. The Alabama search schedule for the 2 properties yet to be searched. I was not using her words VERBATIM...I was paraphrasing ... She said "detectives". SHE DID NOT SPECIFY who they worked for in her message to me.

BBM. I am indeed very interested in what Callie said. That's exactly why I was trying to figure out which part of your post was what she said, and which part was your added on opinion. I had some difficulty distinguishing between the two.

Emily F. Clayton was the older sister of a student who attends the same school and is in the same grade as my granddaughter.. Horrific incident..JMHO

Nothing specific, unfortunately. I'm not local and have zero inside info, but I have an active imagination and sometimes, intuition. Having read about the mountainous roads in TN and the possibility that she was heading to AL or even NY (long drives) or wherever, it just seems too possible that she could have been followed/intercepted and run off the road. Her red Jeep should be very visible but as many have posted, the summer foilage may conceal it or it may be underwater. Or it may be otherwise hidden (nefariously...stowed somewhere, burned, chopped, etc.).

I'm still wondering about SB's sighting of Gail (who didn't acknowledge SB), and the sighting by CC (including Gail meeting with someone in a pickup truck). Gail may have been kidnapped or Jeep-jacked.

I don't think that Gail intended to disappear, either alive or by suicide. I think it was foul play or extremely unlucky accident (Jeep hard to find). JMHO...MOO!!!

I just did a little sluething and, if I found the correct address on SM, the person (JM) charged with murder of three people in the Chattanooga area by running their jeep off Big Fork Rd lived only 11 minutes from Gail's SM home. Just sayin'...

I'm not quite sure what is being said here about the Meeks incident? This was a road rage incident where the guy stole a truck and then he got angry because the people in the jeep flashed their high beams and he rammed them several times and their jeep spun out of control.

Is the implication that maybe this guy was out and about on Apr 30 and stole another truck and got road rage at Gail and ran her off the road?

How does the Meeks case relate to Gail going missing?

Agreed. That said, I'm assuming that if you have an open missing person's case on Signal Mountain, and murder on the mountain is rare, if someone is arrested for murder on the mountain, you're at least going to take a look at them, even if you think it's a long shot. I think it's very unlikely connected in any way.

When I first heard about this story, I had an uneasy feeling that I could not shake. Do I think Gail was run off the road? No. What concerned me was proximity and behavior. Probably not connected, but still can't shake that feeling. JMHO.

I watched the Betty Roderrick story last night and it reminded of this case in some ways; except Gail didn't react the way she did and unloaded a 38 on her x and his new wife.

Active imaginations are necessary when sleuthing.

What you found is interesting but it could just be a coinkie-dinkie. I wonder if that person had access to a pickup truck on the day Gail disappeared? (CC's sighting)

There was someone else arrested in Gail's locale, for a very serious charge, a while back...who seemed questionable...think he frequented MP's father's bar...I don't remember the name or specifics (it's on Gail's threads here).

I'm sure there are way too many criminals around but hopefully LE/FBI have it all covered. :rocker:

Now the good thing is, leaves are starting to turn around here due to the lack of rain and some of the trees such as tulip poplars lose their leaves early. Some of the small-game hunting starts between August/September, while turkey hunting starts in October. So eventually hunters will move into Prentice-Cooper and perhaps find something (if there is anything to find). It's just a matter of time and patience.

Or not found.. I'm really sick of these narcissistic sociopaths who are capable of killing and disappearing their wives, and are still allowed to walk around scott free and are never held accountable for their evil actions...JMHO..

That's a good question...and the Meeks case may have absolutely nothing to do with Gail but Anything is Possible!

The reason that I brought it up is that I thought it rather ironic that there was a Jeep, truck, SM residence, Big Fork Rd, etc involved approx. one month after Gail disappeared, that's all.

Just a quick question about what you said regarding JM getting angry because the people in the Jeep were flashing their high beams at him; how would that matter if he was behind them or did he get behind them after the flashing of lights thing happened so he could ram them and eventually run them off the road....just curious. Didn't read that anywhere. TIA

The articles I read said that the people in the Jeep called LE while he was ramming them, and the one person who lived also provided the details of what happened.

Here's what I got from the articles. Meeks stole a truck, went driving in it. He had his high beams on. The driver of the Jeep flashed his high beams. I've done the same thing. You flash your high beams thinking the person doesn't realize they've got theirs on.

Meeks rammed the Jeep 3 times. In the course of this, the Jeep tried to take a right curve, overcorrected, then rolled. Three of the people weren't wearing seatbelts and were thrown out of the Jeep.

The first articles just say there was a fatal accident and LE thought another vehicle was involved. Makes sense because of the calls to LE while he was ramming them, and the one person who survived. Then is a series of articles with the details. They refer to it as road rage.

To find the articles I Googled the victims' names in Google news.

That's everything I remember. I don't remember them saying who was behind or in front of who. Could be in one of the articles. I just don't remember. I was looking for anything that might relate to Gail.

Maybe a thread could be started about this in the Crimes forum.

BeanE, your post randomly made me wonder about something- does anyone know if Gail wears a seatbelt at all times when in a vehicle?
Also- is there a divider between the backseat of the jeep and the rear (one as if to contain dogs?)
Do the children always sit on the same sides? Do either of the children ever sit in the front passenger seat?

Interesting, tried to access the BGH page and I can't access it this morning. Wonder if it's a FB problem, although I have not other problems on there, or if it was taken down. There was an awful lot of anger on that page and days it seemed like there was more anger than constructive posts of people trying to figure things out.

That is what I like so much about this site, even if people's emotions get out of control on here Admin is quick to nip that in the bud in a professional and nice way. All the bashing going on against MP does not help anything. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but when you start attacking someone based on your own emotions it is not good for anyone. I almost have to wonder can you get in trouble on other sites for harassment or bad mouthing someone?

A big thank you to WS, it's a great place for people to give their own opinions and speculations that just may lead to something, and that is any case. You put a bunch of people together (like on here) trying to sort out the clues that are at hand and you never know what you may come up with that helps.

Keep up the good work and may all of your efforts find Gail!

One more thing, I hope people on other sites realize that Gail's children can probably access that page, if I could, they could. They don't need to see the awful things that are being said. Even if they are true, kids don't need to see that. Kids love their parents no matter what and the last thing they need in this situation is to see some of the awful things that are being said about their dad. Now I am not defending MP in anyway I am just saying there is alot that did not need to be said about him. If indeed he becomes a POI everything will start to come out eventually and it needs to be left up to LE to filter out information. Not Joe Public.

As I see it everything ever stated by MSM can also be seen by the children IF the children choose to put their father's name or their mother's name into the search engine...
His sorid affair, the other woman's name, Both being terminated from BCBS..His refusal to allow the children to help LE.
The list goes on..None of it pretty...
IMHO.. He, is the one who has proven himself to be a thief, a liar and a cheater.. And God only knows what else...IMO..He has no one to blame but himself..JMHO.
