Per NAMUS:

Heather Coomer last communicated with her family on 1-30-25 when she sent her daughter a Facebook message that said "Love You." Coomer has not been seen nor heard from since. There has been no activity on her social media.

Heather is 5'6", 180 lbs, with brown hair and green eyes.

There is a Heather Coomer-White from Kingsport age 42 with some judicial history in TN (the state only has a public record query online for appelette and supreme court but some counties have searches. and I found something in Washington Co.

That Heather and her spouse were arrested in 2015 for child abuse/neglect. Heather was 32 at the time. The child involved was a son, the missing article mentions talking to a daughter.

But the two children (twins) in the home when the couple was arrested were removed from their custody and placed up for adoption, the couple getting 5 years probation in lieu of prison time as part if a plea agreement (their info is about several paragraphs down in the following news article.

One case is still open, and the other shows her as "retired/unapprehended" updated 9/2024 after two probation violations in 2016 and 2018. The case shows disposed.

If this is the missing Heather, which I believe it is, I wouldn't think those charges from 10 years ago would factor into her being missing except for the violation of probation - what happened there? And if they lost custody, why was she in communicatiaon with her daughter? Open adoption? Another child not mentioned?
