I just have to say that this reporter Will Nunley is doing a terrific job with his tweets. He says so much in the few words that Twitter allows, and has given great current info. Other stations and reporters could take a course from him after all is said and done. He has been a very important source of info for all of us, especially those far away. I'm grateful he is there.

I wonder why he thinks Holly could watch a youtube video?

Strictly IMO, there are plenty of laptops w/aircards and proxies.
My ex that was the army sniper used one whenever he was gone for long periods of time.
Maybe they have found an imprint of a metal "hardbook" type of laptop.
But I don't know if the perp would be watching youtube.
I do know that my husband's ip would show he was in Malaysia or Perth or Quebec and such places and it changed constantly.
There is also the chance that if this perp is a veteran of recent conflicts that he was a member of the signal corps, and understands technology, such as encoding, very well.
As well as how to play "stillmouse, quietmouse" while in what is basically plain sight.....aarrgh!
He may even have a camo-type mesh suit like our troops use.
But he is avoiding the dogs, so I think he is underground.
Literally.
That area around Natchez Trace Park is full of unmarked caves with very small hidden openings as well as some abandoned mines and rock quarries.:banghead:

I remember that case, thank you Concentric.
I just don't know how rational and calm a 20 year old could be in that situation...I am sure it could be done but I am not sure I could do as that brave lady did.

There just seems to be an evil among us that gets worse with each passing day. I struggle and worry each day with what these poor families must go through. If Holly is not found soon the searches will surely scale back and the poor parents will have to deal with that along with everything else....no closure of any kind. God help them.

I totally agree...we used to get WBBJ here and I was never very fond of it I am sad to say or admit....I guess it just was not as up to speed as our Memphis stations....but this guy is super. He is doing an amazing job and the station should be very proud of him.

If he is still with her and he is a local...why hasn't he been identified? It is hard to disappear for 5 days without anyone noticing, especially when everyone is thinking about nothing else. To me, it does not sound as though LE has pinpointed a suspect, since they are asking for help and with 250+ tips already, I doubt they want more tips to sort through if they know who their guy is.

So if he is a local, I am afraid that he was not gone all that long on Wednesday and slipped right back into his life.
You are probably correct, but i believe LE has NO idea who the perp is.
I believe he is "local" just not part of any community.
Totally off of the grid.
Just a feeling in my gut and heart and as always JMO

Very good example concentric!
I don't know a lot, but I do know that Holly was genuinely active in her church.
She was (IS) a true believer of what they teach.
I think she is a survivor and she will make it through this.
JMO and I am going to make a pot of coffee and I know LE is combing those woods and the helicopters are up and I will stay up as long as I can waiting for word.
Until I fall asleep with my laptop in my lap.......
Praying

Agree with you! I think he is like a back woods man & nobody would notice his comings or goings. A person nobody notices! That is the scarey part!!!

Think they checked out camping areas? What if he is an out of area camper? Campgrounds in this area are where?

Everywhere...you name it. Lexington, Camden, Kentucky Lake, Beech Lake, gobs of them everywhere.

  • #371
Nana, you are correct about the searchers eventually having to go away.
IMO that is just what the perp is waiting on.
With a whole lot of patience.
If he were just a young guy who was jilted/ignored by Holly and acted out, he would have been caught by now!

Yes we stayed by Hurricane Mills . There are more by the exit Rt.69 and I40 also by TN river at Camden prolly some south of Camden closer to Parsons??? Not sure.

My brother just came back from turkey hunting in that area and he says he hopes no one gets shot accidentally by a hunter!
Geraldo back on:banghead:
Geraldo saying this presser indicates LE have hit a deadend....I don't think they have any idea who the perp is!
Expanding the search to 4 surrounding counties.

my apologies, i'm behind and trying to catch up, but LE reported yesterday in the presser that they were searching in 4 counties.

Absolutely more than we could name.....
but I don't think he is any charted campground.....
I think he is in his own fantasy world that is only known to him....
and Holly.
Very possibly underground where helicopters and dogs will not find them.
I pray this is the case instead of what would most logically be the case.
If he had killed her, she would have been found by now.
Sometimes, the most logical answer, "Occam's Razor", isn't the answer.
JMO and my coffee is nice and strong

:maddening:That's why I don't put much credence in Geraldo...but I had to watch because it concerned Holly.

Lol the coffee!:giggle:...I know where I live there are bunches of Caves. Some are large and well-known and some are small and known only to locals.

You're near the Smokies, lucky you:)
And I'm in Memphis on the mudplain...oh well.
Yes if people would just check property listings for Decatur County TN they would see how many of them list caves and springs.
The openings are often covered with vines and very hard to find.
That area also is pretty sandy instead of muddy.
There are many fire-roads and logging roads all thru that area.
I believe we are dealing w/an intelligent, perhaps college educated, perp here who has left all of that behind to live off the grid totally.
Possibly even a veteran of recent wars with military knowledge and training.
Let's think, if he was a local who just wanted to take Holly he would be missed.
Just like the TBI stressed today.
I think they were putting out what all profilers say to look for in these cases.
Anyone missing for unexplained reasons.
Anyone washing/cleaning a car "obsessively".
Anyone acting anxious.
Anyone reporting a vehicle/ATV missing.
Well with over 250 tips, there has been no such person.
Leads me to believe he is "local" but not known in the community.
What else can they say?
They basically are saying they have no idea who he is and that everyone is a suspect.
Back to square 1 and my belief that she is alive and he is waiting for the searchers to eventually have to give up.
Look at the Hailey Cummings case.
At so many others.

I always have to laugh a little when an expert profiler is featured and just repeats what the expert profilers have been saying on every case for the last hundred years. How much money do these people make and where can we sign up?
