will seems to be in the middle of the prayer vigil

I just wanted to take a second to honor him and the 2000 people that came out today to look for Holly as well as add my prayers to the bunch. Her being found is all that matters right now...

I'm curious if LE is there observing anyone with unusual behavior. MOO

I think LE is just putting all possibilities of various behaviors out there...maybe taking the part about tire changes, if they said that, from the recent Ohio case where the family killed the young mother. I honestly don't think they have one clear suspect, or if they do, they have no idea what he may have done with her. They would not have 1100+ people scouring the woods if they think she was taken away in a car. I think they are searching in the only places they have found any clues and hoping for the best.

I agree they are searching where clues are...but...they have now come full circle..back to the pond with divers???.. OK..LE states it's someone local!!...Could it be LE is almost finished with the puzzle...today LE had people head to Trace Park...maybe LE was letting the POI think they had led them on a goose hunt...while LE gathered evidence ...monitored. the POI's movements ..hoping this POI may lead LE to her...LE sounds close to breaking this case wide open. I pray for the best!

I would think they are.. as this aint their first rodeo.. but I agree... this person could be injecting himself there..

in a small community that emptied out CHURCHES today for the search.. a search that had 2000 people... wow.. if this guy is local and he didn't come out he is a recluse or told someone he was on vacation and wasn't (le said today to pay attention to peeps that told others they were off for three days before the weekend))

wish I could find a video that that presser!!!!!! ((still working on it but none of the newstations are like ones I have dealt with/linked to in the past.. ))

I hope that tomorrow is the day that they bring Holly home. I just feel so horrible for that family! :(

Ok nitey nite... take care everyone!

"Faux" = not the genuine article, and thus is suitable as a reference to "Fox News" (which itself is an oxymoron).

I just pray LE gets the solid lead they need to identify the perp, as well as find Holly. :prayer:

Made it back to Memphis from Jackson, on I40, when my heart wanted to head the other way:(
All I did was think about this whole situation on the way home.
The sun was going down on another day with Holly missing and it broke my heart.
I believe that the press release by the TBI saying to look for anyone who is washing their vehicle or is missing from work/appointments is general profiling in almost all missing/abduction cases.
I still believe that a fully equipped ATV was used in this case.
I'm not quite sure that this was just a focus on Holly anymore.
I think it was a focus on a young woman that "looks" like Holly.
A young petite blond woman.
That's just my thoughts.
Possibly someone else didn't realize that they were almost his victim until after Holly was taken.
Like I said before, hindsight is 20/20.
Sometimes we don't realize how close we came to being a victim until we look back on where we were or what we were doing.
Like being having been in a bank the day before it was robbed.
Thinking.......
and praying.

As normal, this is all conjecture on my part...

That's one (more) thing I don't understand that's coming out of LE mouths. In the article, it says:

"It's possible the suspect missed work or appointments last Wednesday, Thursday or Friday unexpectedly," the bureau of investigation said in a statement. "He may also have excessively cleaned a car or ATV, suddenly sold a vehicle, or reported it stolen. The suspect may be showing signs of anxiety or stress."

Addressing the "missed work" aspect, it is turkey season. In that area, many many males are going to be off of work & up and out the door before light ... to go turkey hunting. That would not be suspicious.

Is LE not considering that aspect? Turkey hunting unlike deer hunting is not a 'group activity' as the norm. If this is preplanned as I suspect has the perfect alibi which would be darn hard to disprove.

Tonight's service was led in part by the Pastor of Bible Hill Baptist. The first volunteer command center. The Pastor has not left since.

How long has turkey season been going on? Wonder if a turkey hunter could of seen her leaving for school one morning while out in the woods. Then decided to come back the next morning,

I don't think an alibi like "I was out turkey hunting alone," would stand up against the other evidence LE would have if this was brought to trial. I think a jury would only put weight into an alibi that could be verified in some way. (Of course, we're way ahead of ourselves here!)

Or could have been trying to work for the same tree trimming company Holly's dad works for, but couldn't get on right now for one reason or another, like there not being enough work right now to justify hiring another person.

Yes, just a thought/an opinion

...Or an employee who was fired.

after hearing the presser today I agree with you.. they are looking for a combination of factors and with hope they are getting a lot of tips in right now on the following:

1-someone dressed in camo on wednesday
2-someone with atv in the area acting strange around that day

3-someone who had the day off or multiple days off or didn't show up for works or appointments

4-someone who seems anxious, etc

5-someone who was obsessively washing a car or atv or tried to sell them in in past few days

I would personally add to that someone who has unexplained cuts or bruises

I know some questions get repeated and I don't honestly think it is done on purpose. The posts go very fast and sometimes we forgot that the question was already asked. I hope everyone is here to somehow help find Holley. But sometimes emotions run high and we are going back and forth from other threads (and taking care of things in our personal life).

If I have offended anyone here, please accept my heartfelt apologies.

Without newbies, WS would not grow.

Hi scorekeeper,

I think norest4thewicked was speaking about the brother and bf not being discussed as suspects or POI's which is what I was addressing and warning about.

You haven't offened anyone, we're glad to have you with us, if anyone has questions just drop me a pm, I'm happy to help.

We love newbies! Everybody has the right to add their own personal take on any aspect of a case that is allowed to be discussed and I don't believe there are any rules or even usual practices that confine discussion of any subject to a certain time frame or section of a general discussion thread. Post away! (Just be sure to check that you aren't posting anything violating the rules here. What's allowed here is adjusted to conform with the circumstances of each case.)

It used to be that getting in right at the beginning of a case was a huge advantage -- you could see how stories told by those involved have changed or how their actions might or might not be hinky. Nowadays, just about everything you hear at the beginning of a case turns out to have been reported incorrectly. There's almost no hope of ever figuring out what really did happen in the first few hours or days and what just got made up and passed along. :banghead:
