There is an interesting post on an old site which summarises a court declaration of death after 7 years with some additional information;
* Nickname Weegee
* Wealthy investor. The declaration meant his one daughter inherited his assets including a $1m trust, but it was thought he had another $7m in accounts in Norway and Denmark.
* Most significantly, his credit cards were used a month after his disappearance, supporting a probable murder.
* His car was found abandoned in a ditch on October 10 (which suggests the November last seen date refers to the credit card purchases rather than a confirmed sighting).
* He was suffering a serious muscular degenerative condition.
* He was divorced with a 13 year old daughter who lived with her mother.
