Per the video at the link below, Jacqulin's family tracked her phone to "the lot of an abandoned building on Lamar Avenue." The building shown in the video has the address 3523.

When officers arrived, they spoke with the security guard who said he was doing routine patrol of the area. He then noticed a white Impala with TN tags.

Her sister said they looked in the car and all of Jacqulin's belongings were in there. Purse, phones, "everything was in there."

The City Watch Alert was issued the next day, Nov 15.

Vail’s boyfriend, 34-year-old Ivory Hearnes, could be heard in the background.

According to a police affidavit, Vail’s family located her car in the 3500 block of Lamar two days later with all of her belongings, including her cell phone, inside.

According to a police affidavit, Missing Persons and Homicide detectives executed a search warrant at Hearnes’ home on Nov. 29.

On Friday, he was arrested on an unrelated drug possession charge as a result of that search warrant. No charges have been filed in connection to Vail’s missing person case.

Tennessee police are searching for a missing woman who hasn’t been seen in over a month.

We’ve been out just looking and looking and we can’t find her anywhere, and this is very difficult because I do have her kids, and I’m trying not to; I’ve got to be strong and look for her all at the same time, and not break down in front of them,” Vail’s sister TW, told NBC’s Action News 5.

TW said Vail has twin 10-year-old girls who she never went a day without talking to before she disappeared. TW added that Vail was last seen with a boyfriend, and she’s known to frequent the Orange Mound and Park Avenue areas.

Christmas has come and gone, and three Memphis children are still without answers after their mother disappeared in November.

She last spoke on the phone to one of her 10-year-old twin daughters.

Her vehicle was found two days later behind a building on Lamar with all of her belongings, including her cell phone, inside.

Is anyone still here? I joined this page so I could comment here about Jackie. If you haven’t already, please join the Facebook page referenced above that her family started and keep the conversation going about Jackie. Her family needs help shining light and applying pressure on her case. Memphis has SO MUCH CRIME- her story is not given attention.

Someone asked about the geographical search above. Memphis is an urban city surrounded by rural areas. But, the areas where Jackie’s family searched were all within the city proper. They were green areas- overgrown, weedy, abandoned spaces around the area the city between Ivory Hearnes place and the abandoned lot where Jackie’s belongings were found. Think culverts, ditches, undeveloped flood zones behind commercial spaces..

Memphis city proper is urban- a lot of abandoned, undeveloped areas / properties
that are overgrown, undeveloped / flood zones), industrial, etc. These are the types of areas where Jackie’s family was searching.

Jacqulin Vail, 33, has been missing since Nov. 12, 2022. MPD said she was last seen at Superlo Foods in the 2000 block of Lamar.

She is 5'7" tall and 140 lbs., and was last seen wearing a gray jogging suit with lettering on the front, and a gray and yellow hat, with a long burgundy wig.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Nearly one year later, the family of 33-year-old Jacqulin Vail still has no answers as to where the mother of three disappeared to.

Memphis police say there have been zero leads in this case. Towanda (her mother) said in the last year, the anguish still feels fresh for her and Vail’s three kids.

“Her kids had to go stay with their dad, and that hurts too because when I talk to them, it’s like, ’Have y’all heard anything?’ And I can’t give them an answer,” said Williams.

The family is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest or Vail’s location.
