Found Deceased TN - James Perry, 83, Bolivar, 12 Sept 2017

Perry has Alzheimer’s, according to the release.Deputies describe Perry as a black man standing five feet eight inches tall and weighing 140 pounds.
He was last seen wearing a white polo shirt, blue jeans, and white, red and blue Adidas shoes.
Perry possibly left on foot and does not drive, according to the release. His direction of travel is not known.
If you see Perry, deputies ask that you stop him and contact the Hardeman County Sheriff’s Department at 731-658-3971 and choose option No. 2.

James Perry, 83, was last seen about mid-day on Sept. 12 at his home and at a friend’s house down the road from his residence in Hollywood Acres.
A man matching his description was seen close to his home on Hwy. 125 just south of Bolivar that evening.
Other than that, there’s been no definitive sign of Perry.
“We’ve been searching, and we thought we had a possible lead on him in Mississippi,” said Perry’s niece, Sherri. “But a Hardeman County sheriff officer drove down there – it was somewhere close to Tupelo – and it wasn’t him.”

BOLIVAR, Tenn. — A family is in mourning after an 83-year-old missing man from Bolivar was discovered dead about a mile away from his home.

WBBJ reported James Perry was located in a wooded area near Highway 125 by hunters. The man was reportedly submerged in water.
