All that has been released is that he was a family friend. I saw on Gary (Jo Ann's husband) he is friends with a T..... Mayes. T..... Mayes is of relation of some sort to Adam. I found this on PeopleSmart... I don't know if it was willingly but the TBI has said they were all abducted and expected to be in Extreme Danger.

OK, I found a school (Oak Dain School) just up the road from where the Durango was found. (It really bothers me that the car was found less than a half mile off of Mecklinburg Rd) Maybe they were all abducted...or it was planned between JoAnn and Adam ahead of time...on the way to drop the girls off at school. Would be nice to know if the girls normally caught a bus or were taken. The area is so desolate (no street view available) and I can't find if the school is elementary, middle or ?
I'm having thoughts of the little 12 yr old from VA whose mother was murdered and child was abducted/went with the perp (bf of mom) and found in San Fran. He manipulated/romanced/groomed the girl against her mother.

Can anyone find any info on AM's criminal history? TIA

The suspect is the ex brother in law of the mother's husband, but that is only from FB. That has not been stated in MS media so consider it rumor.

AM and Gary/family were next door neighbors at some point in time....and looks like the properties are tied together..and the only ones on the that road. Note the pond southwest across the road.

I noticed it was mentioned that only the youngest girl was Bain's biological child and the other two were not. All 3 of the girls according to the media have the last name of Bain, so either he is the father of all of them, or he adopted them after he married the mother.
I'm concerned that the girls were said to be in another state with this Mayes, but the mother is not mentioned. Really, really hinky!

Not looking good as MS Hwy Patrol says the investigation leads to them being abducted. (article has the date of abuduction wrong...it should be 4/27..not yesterday.

Well they keep saying that the children could be in extreme danger. Those are pretty strong words. I believe she may have left with him on her on volition, but the LE stance does make me concerned.

Bodies Found
(Jackson, TN) The FBI has announced two bodies have been found at the home of Adam Mayes in Guntown, MS.
The bodies were found Friday after a search warrant was executed.
The bodies have not been identified yet.

So when was the Amber Alert issued? After the bodies were found? It sounds like the two bodies were found late last night or early this morning.

And, doesn't an Amber alert require a 'suspect vehicle'? Has any informatino been released in this regard?

ETA: I just read the Amber Alert again and it lists Jo Ann as one of the suspects. I had also noted that some media reports list her as being in danger, and others saying that the kids are in danger and they are likely with AM and their mother.

This case is being investigated by Hardeman County Sheriff’s Office, Union County Sheriff’s Office (Mississippi), TBI, FBI, Mississippi Bureau of Investigation, United States Marshal’s Service (USMS), the 25th Judicial District Attorney General’s Office, and the United States Attorney’s Offices for the Western District of Tennessee and the Northern District of Mississippi.

The FBI and USMS are offering a reward of up to $50,000.00 for information that leads to the location of the missing victims and the arrest of Adam Mayes.

I wonder if this man used a relationship with mom to get to 1 or more of those little girls? Tough to think about...but it happens frequently.
