A TENNESSEE STATEWIDE AMBER ALERT HAS BEEN ISSUED



CASE FACTS:

A Tennessee Statewide AMBER Alert has been issued for the Hardeman County Sheriff’s Office for Adrienne, Alexandria, and Kyliyah Bain. They were last seen on April 27, 2012 at their residence in Hardeman County. Adrienne a 14-year old white female, with brown hair and brown eyes, is 5’04” tall and weighs 129 lbs. Alexandria is a 12-year old white female with brown hair, hazel eyes, is 5’ tall and weighs 105 lbs. Kyliyah is a 8-year old white female with blonde hair, brown eyes, is 4’tall and weighs 57 lbs.

They may be in the company of Adam Mayes. Adam Mayes is a 35-year old white male with brown hair, blue eyes, is 6’03” tall and weighs 175 lbs. Mayes has altered his appearance by cutting his hair and he may have also altered the appearance of the
missing children by cutting or dying their hair. Two bodies were discovered pursuant to federal search warrants in Mississippi related to this case. Their identities are unconfirmed.

Adam Mayes is currently wanted for kidnapping and a $50,000 reward is being offered for information on the location of Adam Mayes and the missing children. Mayes is believed to be carrying a firearm and should be considered extremely dangerous.

Mayes was last seen in Guntown, Mississippi on Tuesday May 1, 2012. Mayes has prior connections to Texas, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Florida. There is no vehicle information at this time.

There is no mention of JoAnn in the case facts.

Speculation: I think that one of the unidentified bodies it the mom and the second is the oldest girl. This way the suspect can easily subdue to the two youngest girls... who by the way are featured quite a bit in his photos on his Facebook (where the oldest girl is not).

I just heard about 2 bodies having been found but not identified yet. Why did it have to turn out this way????

Wonder when LE will announce if the bodies were 2 of the children?

My first suspicions as well, but I didn't want to go there in case the two bodies found were of people other than the missing family. (e.g. AM's parents, who disapproved of what he was up to?)

But, with little mention suddenly of looking for JoAnn, I am suspecting that you are right.(but admittedly very premature speculation on my part!)

I should have quoted. They updated it since I posted the link like 5 minutes ago. It did previously say that and did not talk about the bodies.

I have the original article saved, it was updated around 4:30 and then they put up the new article at 7:30pm. Perhaps they've changed their minds about the mom's status. I can try and attach a copy of the article if people want to read it and that doesn't violate the TOS.

Well from what I glean from the article he is still on the run, the mom and her 3 daughters were missing not including him. Two are now are dead, that leaves him and 2 still missing. This is getting scary. He is an armed man, knows hes wanted and ...???

What precipitated this? Is there a reason her husband has not spoken? I'm not putting any blame there, but it seems to me LE DEFINITELY knows much more than they are letting on. More so than most cases imo

Agreed! That was my first thought as well as sad as it is. Then my second was that it is AM and Jo Ann and the children were killed elsewhere or at another location waiting for AM and their mother to return (one could only hope). I did read on NG's page that the mother is considered a suspect as well so I can vouch for all who have posted that here. This is truly a sad ending. It's def creepy he only had the young girls in pics with him. Why didn't the parents think this was a little strange?? We have guys that are great friends of ours but it would freak me out if his pics on fb where with my two little girls... just sayin
