"Searchers found the two decomposing bodies buried in a shallow grave behind the rented double-wide trailer of Mayes' parents in the Alpine community, about eight miles northwest of Guntown."

This article says the double wide was rented to AM's parents, not to him. So where are his parents?

I also found this part of that article really interesting. I was wondering about AM's work history. Wonder if he really did do work for the any of the girls' dads? And if so, which Dad?

"I don't know if he had a job. Sometimes he said he was going to Tennessee to do work for the girls' dad. He just seemed to do odd jobs here and there, and mooch off his parents," she said.

If true, I'm not shocked. Given his age, the fact that multiple MSM sources quote the neighbours as saying he lived with his folks, I'd already suspected he wasn't currently employed steadily.

Which could be a positive. He can't flee far without $, especially if he is trying to feed the kids and keep them in warm shelter. Then again, depending on who the bodies are, he might have robbed the victims before fleeing.

Does anyone have any idea per maps with the area near (closest) to Union county,, with specific counties... Union County is small enough I believe to have surrounding counties that may have scanner chatter.. I cant seem to get a map with nearby counties.

I figure that there may be some info back and forth... if Union is small maybe they are alerting other counties with information.

I have app. on phone for poilice scanner.. but can not locate a county map.

I know the perp. is affilated with different states.. I wonder where at in those states.. I hope a possible city will be released.. i dont think so due to I guess they dont want to give details.

I can not recall the exact case or town.. but the guy who murdered the family and hid them in hollow trees.. that haunts me as a possible senario on this.. not in trees but extreme danger... perhaps all ready too late and i hope the perp does not take his own life without LE ever finding a body ..

i hope for the best but keeping it real... this is not going to be a good ending.. two murders all ready.. what does he have to lose by not killing all of them... at this point it is the victems or himself... probally too late,,,

havent heard a plea of safe return of the girls from the perp's parents.. nor have police stated that they have spoke with them... seems the parents may be the ones deceased.. and that tells me that if no regards for parents.. perhaps to ease their pain when he KNOWS he to kill the mother and the girls...

If he lived with his parents.. then perhaps he was on good terms.. why kill them.. if on bad terms.. why kill them... simply could of taken the girls and left them out.. i get the feeling that a killing spree involved parents so after they are gone they would not have to think of "their son the killer"... just a thought.

I've read the weather is bad (thunderstorms) so he's uncomfortable if he's out in it. Which makes me wonder if he's been in the military? Most of all....where are the females if he's hiding out in the woods?

Nearby counties: Lee, Prentiss, Tippah, Alcorn are the closest. I grew up near the area and have family all around there.

However, Edwards did say Jo Ann Bain, mother of the three abducted girls, is no longer listed on the Amber Alert as missing. He did not elaborate on why that change was made.





This leads me to believe JB is no longer alive. If its true there were 3 bodies than perhaps it is his parents and JB, if 2 bodies perhaps his wife and JB. For some reason I do not think he would hurt the girls, the way he supposedly talked about them and the pictures on his FB. Of course I have been wrong before.

I'm having really bad thoughts with all this info of how much time he was alone with those little girls....and how he was going back and forth to TN. Hopefully they are only bad thoughts... of or drugs!

It is possible there are deer camps in those mountains (extra large hills to those from real mountain country). Big deer hunters in the area. There may be shelter.

I doubt he's been in the military; he lacks the usual spit & polish tidy grooming that most service members display, even long after they're out of the forces.

I am also thinking it'd be really tough if he is on foot with the girls. How far could they go, especially if they are in wooded area? Wonder if there have been any recent reports of stolen cars in the surrounding counties since Tuesday? If so, how many? Back-tracking on those reports might be useful.

There are a lot of houses for sale in the area, and I'd be willing to bet some of them are empty. He could even stay in an outbuilding of some home. There is also the Holly Springs National Forest. Looks like plenty of places to hide there. However, he would be hampered if he had three girls in tow that were frightened. This leads me to believe on of these scenarios:
1) In vehicle. Easier to keep everyone together in a vehicle.
2) In a house or outbuilding somewhere already
3) The girls are OK to be with him, may not know there is a problem if they are stationary in another state
4) Doesn't have all the girls with him any more.
5) All are deceased somewhere

Not seeing him still moving on foot with three girls.

Rumors are that he sold his vehicle and motorcycle. If true, he had some cash. BUT, I'd still be frightened he could break in to someone's house....if he hasn't already and LE doesn't know it. Hopefully, if he's on the loose, he's trying to make his way back to the females.

I've known several military men with a medical discharge (chemical imbalance of the brain, as it were) that, due to their medical condition, were not very spit or polished. Not saying that is the case here, just that it could be possible.

He apparently knows the area. If he was sited at that church, it looks like he may be headed toward his x's house. I'm still wondering why I couldn't/can't find an addy for him or his parents in MS. ?? Especially if they have been there for 2 yrs.
