Such a tragedy! Praying these little girls come home safe and soon! This just makes me sick to my stomach and I cannot imagine what those girls had to endure and are enduring. Or what the family is feeling.

We have to remember Shasta and Elizabeth in cases like these. AM obviously went into this wanting to keep Alexandria and Kyliyah -- for whatever reason? I can only pray that he really, in some demented way, believes he is their father and won't harm them. I know that is hoping for a lot because in my heart, I know why he wanted these girls... but I can hope. Shasta and Elizabeth made it through. Alexandria and Kyliyah can too! I'll personally donate to a trust for any medical care they will need when they are brought home. It won't be a lot... but it will be something and I just want them home!

Dead Bodies in Hardeman Co. Identified

(WMC-TV) - Breaking News...

The FBI Has confirmed the two bodies found in Alpine, MS are those of Joann Bain and Adrienne Bain, the mother and daughter who disappeared from their Hardeman County, Tennessee home.

Right now Adam Mayes is still on the run allegedly with 12 year old Alexandria Bain and 8 year old Kyliyah Bain.

I would say he might "believe" they are his children. And obviously his mind is not the most reliable source of information right now because this guy is a murderer and kidnapper. So whatever he told people is probably just real for him in his own mind because frankly he seems like a sociopath to me. Or he's just delusional.

I agree! I think he planned this... for a LONG time. When they came back from AZ, he has his chance and took it! It amazes me that a death in the family could change this WHOLE family tree! (Speculation incoming) How did that family member die? Speculation again.. but was it a natural death? Or.... well.... I won't say it, but y'all know where I am going....

I have been reading here for quite some time on various cases. I decided to register and actually comment here because I have a few questions for anyone that is local to the area. First of all, I used to live in Jackson TN. I am very familiar with Hardeman County as well. Having lived in Jackson for several years, I believe that I might have met "Paco" on a couple of occasions out in a bar situation in Jackson. I have noticed that a couple of posters on here asked about a motorcycle club affiliations. If this is the same Paco that I have been introduced to on a couple of occasions, then I think there is a motorcycle club affiliation. Are there any locals posting here from the area? I made a couple of phone calls, and asked friends if this was the same person, but I haven't been able to confirm that it is. It has been at least a couple of years since I met this person I am speaking of, but I can't shake the feeling that this is the same guy who was part of the biker club. As soon as I saw the picture, I thought I know this dude from somewhere. After seeing the pics of him in biker gear, it dawned on me that I've seen him at one particular bar, which has bike days in the summer time on Sundays. If this is the same person I think it is, this is a 1% club, and the nationwide connections make sense. I don't mean to jump to conclusions, nor make accusations. I just have a gut feeling this is the same person.

This case is breaking my heart.....I am just now getting over the Powell Boys Deaths..I may have to totally take a break from Websleuths.

It truly saddens me that JoAnn and Adrienne have lost their lives due to this MONSTER! They did not deserve what he did to them...I am so saddened and can't stop crying....DH is home and I do not dare try and explain yet another senseless loss of innocent lives. He feels that I take too much of these cases into my heart!

Hoping and Praying that Alexandria and little Kyliyah have been protected from all the madness that he had to have used against poor JoAnn and Adrienne. When they come home, their little lives will have been forever changed by the loss of their Mother and Sister. He has stolen their innocence from them...in an effort to fulfill his sick fantasies. WHY????

Where in the He77 do these Horrible People come from? What makes them think that they can get away with the unspeakable things that they DO? WHY???

Wondering if his family will stand by him and make excuses...as we have seen over and over. Remembering that Ted Bundy's mother never believed her little boy hurt a soul. WHY???

My Heart keeps asking "WHY????" Why do these horrible things keep happening?

Can you imagine the pure terror they are feeling at this very moment? My heart aches for them. We have seen it all before, the lowest forms of humanity with no regard for other life, but each new case still seems unimaginable to me.
