I could almost see this if he had already murdered someone. But who decides to help someone who has already murdered 2 and is kidnapping 2 more. Obviously, that could still be the reasoning, but they are just as psychotic as he is.

What a mean and hateful cluster of people! This situation is bad enough, but the other thing is, people didn't just turn this way overnight. This is the result of lifetimes and generations of unimaginable ways of living. Makes me sick.

Especially for women to be involved, to help him, usually women are more motherly and caring. Obviously not all of them though. Casey Anthony comes to mind...

I know, I have been trying to move back to Florida, but after researching some of the areas, think I might just stay in Alabama. I lived in Plant City for a few years, but it has all changed.

I live in south west Florida and it is just Beautiful and crime is not bad at all.
Like everywhere you have to research the area you move to.
I know these criminals come here because its warm and there are so many churches that feed the homeless 3 squares a day heck why not come here

yes, and the other two involve either weapons being used or seriously bodily harm and/or confinement... (I am sure all of the preceding apply, sadly)

Another possible is holding as a hostage or using as a shield (going by the link with legal description, posted upthread)...

I love my son more than anything, however I'd never aid/cover for him in any crime, let alone something as vile as this. I'm shocked and disgusted.

My thoughts are constantly with the younger girls, there fathers and families. I'm praying they're safe and returned home as soon as now.

Not trying to up the panic, but I really hope he hasn't placed them in some kind of network where it will be extremely difficult to find them (but at least they would be alive, in that scenario). It's something I've wondered about in the case of 4 little brothers missing in MI (their father is in prison for not revealing their whereabouts). Their poor mother.
