The sister of Adams ex is making these statements and I don't believe what she is saying about them dating or other accusations. JB's friends and family think this is ridiculous. I will trust them first.

The 2 oldest are fathered by MJ and the yougest by GB according to the family.

Mary Frances Mayes, 65, of Guntown, Miss. has been charged and arrested on four counts of conspiracy to commit especially aggravated kidnapping. She is Adam Mayes’ mother and is being held in the Hardeman County Jail on $300,000 bond. Teresa Ann Mayes, 31, also of Guntown, has been charged and arrested on four counts of especially aggravated kidnapping. She is Adam Mayes’ ex-wife and is currently in the Hardeman County Jail on $500,000 bond. Both women were charged yesterday.

It is driving me crazy that they have not blurred the face of the child in the surveillance video. Why haven't they done that? I think it is irresponsible.

Yeah they should blur the child in the video. I think it so odd why TM would still want to live with AM if he is her ex husband. I would never want to be near either of my X husbands. This whole case has so many oddities its hard to figure it all out. I guess its just praying now for the two girls to come home safely.

If you read the affidavits, it's clear that TM confessed to helping AM transport JB and the three girls to Mississippi. Having gone that far, I don't see any reason she would stop talking.

I doubt that TM knew all of AM's plans. I have a feeling AM knew how far he could manipulate TM but after that point, he had his own plans.

I just get a vibe from reading about AM that he was very slick and very manipulative.

If these children survive this, which I hope with all my heart they do, how do they ever live a normal life after this? Life as they know it will never be the same. How would they ever trust anyone again? I hate AM. He is a disgusting waste of a person. I shudder to imagine the atrocities the girls have been witness to during this tragic journey.

Adrienne was a freshman at Bolivar Central High School. Fred Kessler, the school’s principal, said in an interview earlier Tuesday that her teachers have described her as a kind person who was hard working and conscientious of others.

Kessler said teachers told him Adrienne, a ninth-grader, was athletic and loved sports. He said she had just taken up tennis and was doing “extremely well.”

“I’ve had several of her close friends talk to me and say they were concerned,” he said. “Some of them had planned to meet her that Friday evening of the week she disappeared.”

It's crossed my mind that TM may have done more than just drive the get-away.

If she was convinced that AM was having an affair with JB, it is possible that she was more involved in the 'bodily injuries' than she's admitted, or than has been reported.

As for AM - bio-dad, non-bio-dad, groomer or non-groomer -> he IS a kidnapper and murderer. Sure, I'd like to know his motivations someday, but no matter what they are, he's still a selfish rat bastage who has cut a swath of devastation across multiple states and far, far too many lives.

And on another train of thought... I wonder how much $$$ 'dear' SIL Bobbi is making from her media appearances? It's time for that one to sit down and button it. I suspect police in many of the involved forces share my view on that. She isn't helping the situation.

I didn't interpret anything in that statement as the girls being alarmed before the kidnapping. You can read that several ways:

1. the girls were concerned when Adrienne didn't show up that Friday night
2. the girls are now concerned for the current well-being of her sisters

ME said she played with Adrienne Bain on the same softball team last year. She described Adrienne as a good player who enjoyed softball.
"She was real nice but she was real shy," Ervin said.

E, 16, said she and her friends have been shaken by the kidnapping and deaths.

She also said Mayes spent time at the park. He would often come see the Bain girls play, she said. Megan Ervin's mother Pam said she also saw Mayes hanging out at the park.

"It's just shocking. It could have been any of us, really, because he was always here and everybody saw him," M said. "He was around all these kids all the time."

That same woman goes on to say she had a bad vibe about Mayes. (Smart girl - always trust your internal hinky meter.)

Forgive me because I was out of commission all day yesterday and am now still trying to catch up, but did catch on the tube that AM had a "trailer" he had rented and not knowing if it had been discussed. Wondering if he rented a Uhaul for himself thinking he would be going along to AZ and maybe made it known the night before? I could see that causing a riff if one of the reasons they are moving is to put distance between him and them....and/or children. I was thinking it was the blue trailer behind the house, at first, but it is still there and the news stated the trailer was in the possession of LE.

This had been planned for some time, imo, and has to do with the paternity or his deluslions of it...or I have thought he and his family could have been using the children for some type of profit. The other thing I'm having trouble with is why TM was still living with him and his family if they were divorced? Thinking TM may be getting some type of financial assistance. Has anyone found documentation on their own---besides the MSM statements on the divorce?

In reading back I've seen posters ask about clothing and necessities. From what I've garnered the girls spent many many days with AM and I would think alot of their belongings were left behind of they just may have had clothes and such there just so they didn't have to cart them back and forth.

fwiw I believe AM thinks the younger one is his, and I believe he was not happy about the move to put it mildly. IMO that is the precipitous behind this horrible crime.

holly, I'm thinking the trailer was some sort of pull along trailer, like a landscaping trailer. I believe that some sort of plan had been in place for quite some time. The move certainly was in the works for several months I would think.

I have not seen any documentation as far as TM and AM's marriage or divorce but I may have missed it.

My apologies if this has been covered already, but I cannot read all the posts right now.

I have a question about the day of the kidnapping. So the family had flown back to TN FROM Arizona for a funeral/sickness, right? And if I understand correctly they were also doing some packing of a U-Haul so they could move the rest of their things to AZ, correct? So were the girls already enrolled in school in AZ? If so, then why would the father (GB) wake up that Monday morning and assume that the girls were in school, especially if they were still in TN?

I am sorry, this little thing just bothers me and I need clarification.

I thought it was the other way around. The family was still living in Tennessee while planning to move to Arizona at the end of the school year. They flew from Tennessee to Arizona to attend the funeral and then came back to Tennessee for the rest of the school year, as planned.

I could be wrong.

Booth told Reuters AM and TM married in 2000, almost immediately he forbade contact with her family. She saw him again in 2001. The first time Booth and TM had spoken, almost a decade later was when TM told her about what she had done to help AM kidnap JB and the girls.

In their Saturday conversation, TM told her she thought JB and AM had an affair and the girls or at least one was his. So Booth wasn't even around, her info is from her sister and by the sounds of the whole conversation between the two seems like TM was setting up her defense for a future trial. Her sister will be called to testify on the conversation. I don't think she's as slow as her sister is saying is, seems very calculating to me.

Whatever the truth actually is, he believed one of the girls could be his child.

Or he was deliberately lying about paternity in order to make it look more normal for him to be so involved in their lives.
