4:18 p.m. - A man named Richard Norman who lives in Union County near the home Adam Mayes was living in was taken into custody by U.S. Marshals according to a neighbor.

On the FindJBandGirls FB page today; the moderator asked everyone not to post where LE is investigating (as in your sitings of lots of LE vehicles, helicopters etc...). She said they believe there is a "mole" feeding info to AM as to what is being reported on FB and in the news.

Interesting from that same article:

FBI press conference: Haven't completed autopsies yet. Don't know cause of death for Bain mom, daughter.

Which means WHAT? That the bodily harm was so extreme they don't yet know which blow was the fatal one? For either victim?

Sounds messy.

At least we have confirmation he did have a cell. We thought so because he posted to FB via Android.

What I can't get over is this: how can 2 people be killed in the garage, the bodies loaded into a car with two additional children (who must have been in a panic) also loaded into the car.... silently? Without even a whisper? I thought GB was sleeping and his eldest daughter was also in the house, along with her child? AND NOBODY HEARD ANYTHING at all????

Maybe he drugged everyone the night before so he could get them out before anyone woke up.

I think the girls were probably still in school in TN - even though they changed locations on their FBs - mainly bc GB is NOT suspected of anything in this case, and he wouldn't say he thought they weren't in school if they weren't still attending. They could have taken some absences to help move/settle in/register for school in AZ, etc, but that doesn't mean they weren't still in school in TN.

I hope so badly that Alexandria and Kyliyah are found safe and sound. Their daddy needs them and they deserve to live the rest of their lives!

As for the Mayes family and the neighbor.... ROT! The world doesn't need scummy people like you!

Yeah, as we know, MSM is like that. I try to grab the original sources when I can/have the time. Wmctv has a section dedicated to the search for the girls with articles and affidavits together here.

Just trying to help. We're moving so fast, if something inaccurate gets posted, it's carried forward on a tidal wave, and I know all of us are just searching for these girls and the truth.

What happened is when I posted, it was in response to a member indicating both were killed in the garage. This is how is all started with trying to indicate they both weren't killed in the garage.

It so hard to write this sort of stuff, knowing what happened, what is still happening and if the two precious, beautiful young girls will be found safe. :cry:

we knew, from past experience, that the defense junk was coming - we have to ignore it this time, lesson learned and focus on the two girls. Having said that it still makes me mad. Bet mother and wife are trying to talk up a storm to LE to try and get deal - re:TM talking now, too little too late - it's all so disturbing. I just pray LE gets him d or a and the girls are ok

I am keeping up hope that the two girls are still alive. He went thru the trouble, apparently, of cutting and dying their hair. If he was planning to murder them in the very near future, he would not have gone thru that trouble IMO. It was reported though that two suffered from asthma, do not know which two. That is scary,however, if there are no inhalers available. Are inhalers an over the counter item? And if he is a druggie/alcoholic, I also assume he will try to get more drugs/alcohol. With nobody having spotted him for a while, is very disturbing though.

I lean towards thinking TM is very much more involved than we know. I won't be the slightest bit shocked if we learn she had a direct hand in the murders.

The fact that other neighbours note that she would frequently go into screaming fits at AM points to both instability - and possibly that she wasn't always being controlled, but could possibly be controlling.

I have a hunch that as this plays out, her anger and resentment will prove to be part of motive. Maybe not for the kidnapping, but very possibly for JB's murder specifically.

I'm new to this case and was confused as to the relationships of the principals. I found this article from the 7th and thought I would post it in case others need it. It does describe the relationship and some family history. The article is from the period of the bodies being found but not identified.

A man accused of abducting a mother and her three daughters was a family friend described as being like an uncle to the girls.

snip....Jo Ann Bain's husband Gary and Mayes knew each other, Tennessee authorities said.

Mayes "thought the world of those little girls," observed Melvin Herron, 42, who lives next door to the Bain family in western Tennessee and recalled seeing the girls playing outside, running and going down water slides.

Info seems dubious to me. Wife (TM) is mad he dotes on the two youngest, so she helps him kidnap them? If TM thought there was an affair and didn't like the attention paid to the two girls, wouldn't them moving away be a good thing? Not sure if these relatives are really in the know, just hearing family/ town rumors, or wanting 15 minutes.

Hoping the two girls are rescued shortly, Adam is captured or killed trying to escape, and we hear the whole story. So sad. It can be so easy to trust the wrong people, even for years.

Go back to the video in the store with AM. You'll notive AM looking behind him and looking at "someone" or something in the store. Then you'll see another man appear after the little girl. He is wearing a black T-shirt and beige ball cap. He appears to be nervous. Does this man look like RN to anyone beside me?

Inhalers definitely aren't OTC. There are some home "remedies" that could be tried if one of the girls had an attack, but I doubt AM knows how or even has access to what he would need for that, since he's on the run with them...

But, my son has bad allergies which cause asthmatic symptoms sometimes. He's never had an actual attack, he just gets wheezy. He needs his inhaler when he's wheezy, but he's not in extreme distress, KWIM? Hopefully the girls' asthma is similar in this instance.

Do we have confirmation that it was for sure the girls whose hair was cut and dyed? because we now know that he dyed and cut his own hair. So maybe they just saw that evidence and assumed he did the girls hair as well. ?
