If TM was involved in the kidnapping she can be charged with murder even if she didn't commit that act. A death during a kidnapping--even an accidental death--is murder, and all perps present at the time of the death are equally involved in the murder.

so I am assuming the kids never showed up for school?
Why did GB not get a call from the school? Most schools call the parents if they do not show up to school?

Maybe the school called Jo Ann's phone? When my son was in elementary the school didn't call....in middle school they are on top of it.

It states that she was present in the garage when he killed Jo Ann in the garage. And Adrienne at the same location but not necessarily in the garage and it doesn't state that she was present with Adrienne..

Looks like the one is because she saw it and the second because she helped to move the bodies

Our schools call within 15 minutes of the start of school if our children don't show up and we've forgotten to call in (which we do quite often).

I saw where the Mayes family also lived in Lawtey Florida at one time. I am going with my thesis that AM's father has the two girls and is in Florida. The girls no nothing and think they are on a trip. And AM will have an easier time getting there without having the two girls with him. He will meet them there.

JMO...Is anyone besides me thinking that LE/TBI/FBI/etc. must know where he and the girls are (even if separate locations) and obviously under extremely heavy surveillance, otherwise they wouldn't have filed the murder charges yet? Maybe even have the girls in protective custody (whether or not they know AM's location)? Maybe that will be announced at the presser today...JMO...

Just catching up Cazzie but has the manner of death been determined by autopsy yet? I wonder what the statute on bringing forth murder charges in TN requires? Could it be that a formal manner of death is required? That's the only thing I can think of offhand that would hold up a charge. JMHO and TIA for any answers I get, this thread has moved so fast I have to go back and read about 40 pages to catch up from where I left off yesterday!

Yes, the article says in the same town but the affidavit is more specific and says Adrienne was killed at the same location as JoAnn.

in my state, the public schools dont call until after school lets out for the day...some times, its a recording, automated voice that informs the parents that "said child" was absent from school that day...

my son, he is in private school now, and I kept him home one day as he had a fever,,,the school never even called...

I dont know how things work in various states tho?

and yes, I went to the school office, and gave them a piece of my mind for not calling...in the future, the school will call after roll call if anyone is absent...

some times, its good to raise a fuss lol

No cause of death released yet (that I've seen) but possibly will be announced at the presser?

Good point you made. But really I'm questioning that they would file the recent charges without first ensuring that the girls are safe...and, JMO but they must either have them safe or know for sure that they were...killed. JMO I could be way off base. Then again, if they are safe, wouldn't that be announced pretty quickly (rather than scheduling a presser several hours in advance)? IDK.

Are TM and MM the dumbest two people to ever walk the earth? Did those two morons really believe they could aid and abet a kidnapping and murder and return to their home and live happily ever after? It sure seems that way since they were both easily apprehended and not hard for LE to locate.

As far as any sympathy for TM due to her supposed mental deficiencies, sorry that dog won't hunt with me. She is fully capable of knowing the difference between right and wrong. MURDERING innocent people is wrong.

Harsh I know, but I am so angry now I hope all three of them get the Jeff Dahmer treatment in prison.
