The prosecution team is very proud of this win. TBI agents and the state are shaking hands and patting each other on the back. Definitely some tears mixed in there.

I am not surprised about the 2nd Degree Murder charge. I think listening to that tape last night helped some make up their mind. I believe some were split between 1st and 2nd and they comprised.

Well, that was satisfying!

Defense said they'll appeal which is no surprise but there's also a window until sentencing where Joseph could cut a deal for fewer years if he tells what he did with Joe Clyde's body.

well, they would have removed me from the court room. Judge asked anyone that could not control their emotions to leave the room. I may be home alone, but I had a very audible response once the verdict was read. Actually clamped my hand over my mouth.

I'm still randomly doing my happy dance whilst letting out a Hell yeah!!!

Yes justice. I understand why second degree murder, but I wish it could have been first degree.
Where is Baby Joe? It's time he gave up the info so this precious child can be given the proper respect he's deserved for so very long now.

I don't want to see a bunch of years off, but I'd like to see Joe Clyde laid to rest in a respectful way. I'm personally happy with the verdicts.

I believe he said if they did it would open the door for prosecutors on cross to enter into evidence Josephs' jailhouse calls and letters, which means he spoke or wrote to the eyewitness. As he made multiple confessions in the calls, they couldn't take the risk. Coercion is hard enough to prove on one confession let alone several!
