(Memphis) Family and friends of Karen Denise Thomas searched the wooded areas around the Garden Ridge store off of Summer Tuesday morning.

It would be helpful if some of our guest who may have an inside perspective,would join..
Somebody has to know something! I wonder when anyone other than her husband last spoke with her??

MEMPHIS, TN- (WMC-TV) - Friends of a missing mother in Shelby County said she would never leave for an extended period of time without taking her children or calling to let them know she's safe.

MEMPHIS, TN- (WMC- TV) - It has been a week since the disappearance of missing mom Karen Thomas. Her family says they refuse to give up hope.

A candlelight prayer is planned for Friday at 6 p.m. in the parking lot of Garden Ridge on Summer Avenue where he car was discovered Monday.

A body found floating in the Loosahatchie River on Thursday has been identified as that of a missing woman, officials said late Thursday.
Using fingerprints, the Shelby County Sheriff's Department identified the body found Thursday morning as that of Karen Thomas, 31, spokesman Chip Washington said. The body was found at about 11 a.m. at the Loosahatchie River bridge and Watkins after a passer-by spotted it, then called police.

The husband of a woman found dead near the Loosahatchie River on Thursday has been charged with murder in her death.

Terrence Thomas is now doing time with the Tennessee DOC. Info is limited, but his sentence began October 18, 2012 and ends August 17, 2041.
