JMO, but I strongly suspect she was actually going to meet the baby's father and knew her parents wouldn't approve, so she made up the 'testing' story.

This is so horrible.

Around 11:30, Campbell says police officers knocked on her door asking what car her daughter drives and if she knows where Hoyle is.

It only took the police 15 minutes to do a house call after discovering the car. It doesn't sound like there was any attempt to hide the crime whatsoever.

UPDATE, 4:23 PM: Memphis Police are on the scene after a car seat was found abandoned at a Walmart in Whitehaven. Family members confirmed that the car seat belongs to Kennedy Hoyle. Police have not yet commented on this investigation.

Walmart have great CCTV, hopefully will provide leads to Kennedy being returned to her family.

Everyday there's a new thread for another missing child it seems. It's heart breaking.

I honestly don't think so. Her FB page mentions that he and the baby were asleep, but she couldn't sleep yet. He was there.

Home birth?

Baby was born in a hospital. Mom and baby were released 24 hours later. Maybe she had to take it back for the hepatitis shot which us usually given before baby leaves hospital but with their Covid rules they get well moms and babies out quick.

A man has been detained after a 2-day-old baby went missing and her mother was found shot to death. The man detained was known to the victims, according to Memphis police.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation issued an AMBER Alert for Kennedy on Wednesday morning. The baby is 6 pounds and 17 inches long.

So it was the father of the baby. I was so hoping the baby was alive, can't believe he killed his own baby girl.
