Franklin Police Department officials have asked residents for information on a missing man last seen in August.
According to the department news release, Lawrence Moore, 57, was last seen Aug. 27. FPD said he disappeared after an argument with an acquaintance.
"Detectives are concerned that he has not been seen or heard from since," Public Information Officer Lt. Charles Warner said.
Moore’s car — a 2005 gold, four-door Kia Spectra — is also unaccounted for, police said.

I didn't find any update on the identity of the above burned body.

Another unidentified body was found in a car in a river:

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) - An investigation is underway after police pulled a car out of the Cumberland River and found a body inside.

It's not clear how long the car had been in the river near Neelys Bend Road.

Police said the tag on the vehicle is registered to a missing person from another county.
